TOUR OF THE GILA
Stage 3 – Tyrone ITT – 25km
William Dugan is the first Team Type 1 rider to complete the course and he manages it in a time of 38m 46s
Santos of LA Antarte betters him by 50s but both riders will finish the day near the back of the final results
The first good time is achieved by Bevin of Bissell Cycling who comes in with 36m 26s
He is followed in by Creed of Team Optum who manages to beat him by a single second
Quaade of Blue Water Cycling is again better and sets a new fastest time of 35m 55s
Many more riders finish but don't challenge the time
Atkins of Bontrager Livestrong is one of them
Hernandez of Jelly Belly Cycling is another
As is our very own Joey Rosskopf
Dombrowski misses out as well when he was expected to do well
Mancebo oc Competitive Cycling was leading until the final couple of kilometres and then fell away
Ben Jacques Maynes finally beats the time with 35m 45s with only a handful of riders left to go
All the riders were on the course except for me and i am now on the ramp trying to gather my thoughts before i get the signal to go
I am soon in to my stride as i try to defend my race lead
King of the Mountains leader Dirk Müller of Nutrixxion Abus puts in a good ride
Rory Sutherland finishes very strongly
So does Haga of Team Optum
And Ribeiro of Efapel Glassdrive
But who has won

This form for Gary Sutton is amaazing, destroying the field which contains potentially stronger riders.
The only problem is I doubt we will see Gary tested against the GC and Classic winners this season, which is a shame..............

TOUR OF THE GILA
Stage 4 – Downtown Silver City Criterium – 66.7km
The first attack of the day comes after just three kilometres and contains four riders Schmitt/Team NSP Ghost, Haga/Team Optum, Alzate/Team Exergy and Grenfell/Competitive Cyclist
The gap is at 3m 11s to the breakaway riders with the best on the GC being Grenfell/Competitive Cyclist who is nearly six minutes behind, that's why I am taking things easy at the moment at the front of the pack
The lead has been reduced to 2m 23s
Joey Rosskopf/Team Type 1 has come to the front to keep the pace high and try and reel in the leaders
His hard work is about to pay off as the pack has the leaders within thirty seconds
One more rider remains just ahead of the peleton as the team all come to the front and sets a high pace to make sure I stay out of trouble
A kilometre to go and its Jelly Belly and Efapel Glassdrive who hit the front
But both teams get outwitted by UnitedHealthcare who take a great 1-2 on the line with Boy Van Poppel the winner

The lead has dropped a little due to the terrain
MOUNTAIN - Mullervy/Team Exergy
Three minutes and fifty seconds is the latest time check that we have been given back to the peleton
The leaders are all battling to stay in touch as they accent the first category climb of Anderson Vista
MOUNTAIN - Schildge/Jamis Sutter Home
MOUNTAIN - Nielsen/Blue Water Cycling
Diegnan/UnitedHealthcare and Muller/Nutrixxion Abus third and fourth on the GC respectively have made a move near the top of the final climb which could spell danger for our race Leader Gary Sutton/Team Type 1 , he is going to have to react to this move soon
With all the action happening further back in the peleton, Mancebo/Competitive Cyclist has ridden off on his own and has managed to open up a small advantage
Deignan/UnitedHealthcare is closing in on Mancebo/Competitive Cyclist whilst race radio is saying that Gary Sutton/Team Type 1 has cracked and is losing his Overall Lead in dramatic fashion as he is over five minutes behind on the road
Mancebo/Competitive Cyclist is inside the final kilometre as Deignan/UnitedHealthcare and now Dombrowski/Bontrager Livestrong close in
And Mancebo holds on to take a Magnificent victory

I have to admit that i am in total shock after what happened today out on the road, we never expected to blow up like we did and lose everything, it was a bitter pill to swallow, the guys are sitting in the Team coach totally in total despair at the fact that everything we worked hard for this week has gone in a blink of an eye, This will take some time to get over
