TAMPA CRITERIUM
The early breakaway consists of Briggs/Team Raleigh, Lampier/Node4 Giordana, Day/UnitedHealthcare, Shelden/5 Hour Energy, Whorrall/Team IG Sigma Sport and Lovelock-Fay/Christina Watches
Lampier couldn't cope with the pace so as dropped back to the peleto who are not letting the others get away too easily
Rapha Condor-JLT and 7up Cycling are now applying a turn of speed at the head of the pack
Our five leaders continue to work well together
A split in the peleton sees a group of over thirty riders losing contact
The break has 30s at the ten kilometre to go marker
Briggs is the last member of the break to be reeled back in as it looks like we will be treated to a sprint finish
Grivell-Mellor/Rapha Condor-JLT leads at the red kite followed by De Maar/UnitedHealthcare with the pack just a few metres further back
But he gets caught right at the death by a perfectly timed sprint from Farrar/Team Novo Nordisk
