I have unfortunately been forced to install Linux and was wondering whether it is possible to get pcm running under wine?

This forum has a search function. But in your case it is even more easy to find the answer, just read the first "similar thread" (found below)

I know, however as that thread was a year ago and for a different version of pcm I was wondering if anyone had any newer information.

Maybe somebody knows more about the actual game, did you try google?
But it is way easier to install windows on another partition. Even if you would need to swap the HDD.

Yeah, I found a thread for 09 on the wine forums which reached no conclusion.
I ideally would like to get back on Windows, but had to delete it and am not able to buy it again currently.
I may be able to get my hands on an old copy of XP soon so I guess I'll have to try that

Read here for ages, but only posted twice, both about this question.
Unfortunately, the short answer is no.
I've been working on it since it came out, and got nowhere.
09, on the other hand, works much better than it did the last time this question came up, even with ATI graphics cards if you use the latest drivers, and WINE 1.2 (though still has issues with HD Mobility line).
EDIT - I use Debian based distros exclusively. Your mileage may vary with alternative distros.

You need the native versions of vcrun2005sp1 and DirectX. Both can be grabbed with winetricks https://wiki.wineh...winetricks
You also need to get around Starforce with a NoCD, or by getting a CD key from Cyanide (they will give you one, but they take their time about it).
