This rider did great today and lost 18seconds on nothing.
Damiano Cunego not a GC guy I know
José Angel Gomez Marchante one hit wounder?
Samuel Sánchez Be better on TT before you begging to loose easy time on flat stages.
Rein Taaramäe still the Cofidis leader?
Alexander Vinokourov this was good. Hope they ride fore Horner.
Linus Gerdemann continue to impress with his GC skills.
Fredrik Kessiakoff did fall but still unnecessary
Sandy Casar dont think he is going after a top10 place.
Fränk Schleck WC WC WC
30 sec
Igor Antón bye bye reserve GC guy.
Andy Schleck Schleck

Taaramäe was not the Cofidis leader when tour started..he is there to ride he's first GT.
30 sec.and bye-bye Anton? Give me one proper mountain stage and Anton will say bye-bye to most of the guys with 3min.
Just relax man..this is GT and this was just stage 2..
Did you know that Lance was once almost 10min. down to race leader (was it Simon?..frenh champ.) before first mountain stage.Nooo problem

totally agree. i think if Anton is in best shape he is best climber in this vuelta. and its not a joke. maybe only mosquera is in the same level. but valverde and basso, they arent so good true climbers.

No. Anton isn't better climber than Valverde, Basso, Sanchez or Mosquera. And time trial is big problem..

We'll see. If he's improved as much as he should have from last year to this, he's as good or better climber than any of these

TVE now transmitting
The doomed suicidal break consists of Johny Hoogerland, Lars Boom and some AndalucÃa guy whose face I don't recognise

I've managed to find a stream with decent quality, but to my horror I found the american commentator refering to Danielson as favorit.

Look at the positives: Comedy show and cycling race all in one

Unless he means - his favorite rider.
Kind of strange seeing the Vuelta racing thru' all these green fields in the first couple of days.

Yup, the Vuelta hasn't seen this type of landscape since it stopped being raced in the spring 15 years ago. Spain in September tends to have brown vegetation.

Boom gets some cash, and Rosendo and Hoogerland are still out by 20 seconds. Catch inevitable.

Hoogerland and Boom know it was hopeless. And Rosenda is now on a suicide mission
