Damn these Spaniards and their attitude of 'If I don't win, another Spaniard will, but no way that dutchie wins'. (Same goes for italians).
Mosquera, Sanchez and Valverde all stick to Gesinks wheel, when Valv is dropped, first Mosquera keeps sitting on Gesinks wheel(had he been from any other country he'd have started to help gesink for his own gc too) while Sanchez stays with Valverde. Then as the gap gaets too big, Sanchez obviously has to go back tot he groupe for his own GC, so then Cobo takes over. By then the steep section is over and Valverde is on his best terrain again... great.
Not deserved 4 seconds he took on Gesink in the end. bah!

Yeah because he'd never have caught Gesink had they not pushed him. Seriously it was ONE time!

caught? Bahh he's already caught, it's just CAS and UCI sitting on their asses allowing him to compete whilst a suspension is hanging over him.
Here's an idea for a new rule, whilst the final decision is being waited for, why not suspend him. That way you don't have the embarrasement of him winning things?

I think Sanchez will now be the greatest competitor for Valverde.
Stronger in the time trial and strongest in a third week of a grand tour AND downhill finishes coming up...
Seems like Sanchez can win this.
Gesink will hold podium, because Mosquera will only lose time in the TT and doesn't win more than 10/15 seconds on mountains. Basso and Evans were weaker than Gesink today. A sign...

i think you are spot on ruben.
though i fear that there aren't enough technical decents anymore (i could be wrong)

Hoogerland still 12th in GC He finished 22th today on 5´17´´
Sanchez looks like the strongest now. Hope Gesink can hold him off for 2nd place. But it will be hard. We´ll see what happens.
