This is really bad for the race itself

The ugly thing wan't just the puncture, but that tire change of almost 1 minute. That's just ridiculous. It was like a PCM puncture.

I don't care for Evans personally, but this isn't a fair fight. I can't enjoy this stage now.
That said, Evans, even with help, is losing time on Gárate alone pulling, so clearly he wouldn't have a chance agains the main contenders

If it will be just 1min. then it is not bad..but extremly unlucky..puncture is one thing..1min. wheel change is other thing..

Why not? Those things just happen, like it or not it's part of the sport.
Oh and would somebody please do Basso a favour and tell him he needs to gain some time.

Well, they cannot wait, not with Sanchez and Danielson dropped. This was awful
I guess the Spanish mechanic didn't really try hard....

What's this going to cost Evans in the end? 2 minutes? 1 and a half?

No idea how much he'll lose at the end, but this cost him 1 minute

You'd think that a mechanic would know how aswell, even a neutral mechanic.

Probably like 1 and a half - 2 and a half minutes, I don't think Evans is having a whole bunch of energy left now. Not saying they should've waited but if they did that would've been a great moment of the Vuelta that people would remember for some time.
