And we have a new leader: Pedala.
One of the bets had been given a faulty winner. Those who won on that bet have lost the amount they won, but have also been given the 'bet money' back.
Edit: Wrong thread...

It pisses me off that people actually think anybody would risk their own life and health to throw off another rider on purpose. Then you are in my mind, an insane person with no right to speak. Get locked up or something.

Right. Another justified and documented argument from Mr. 0 mistake.

...I am british and and I was calling for a long ban. Bos broke two rules: Grabing a jersey and pushing. And the Tour of Turkey broke a rule too: No barriers with sticking out legs.

He was being pushed to the barriers, which had sticking out legs, he didn't want hit the sticking out legs, he pushed Daryl Impey, who was squeezing him towards the barriers so Bos pushed him back a bit but Impey stayed were he was and when Bos started to fall because he hit the barriers his hand was on Impey's jersey and his human instinct was to grab on to not fall and he ended up falling and taking Impey down. It was 100% Bos's fault, but it wasn't deliberate.

Armstrong is no sprinter, and McEwen is. So I don't attach many value to what mr. Lance says.
Theo Bos was a fair sprinter on the track, he is also never aggresive, and never has had those tendencies. He panicked, he was about to crash into the barriers, and in his panick he didn't brake, but grabbed hold of the first thing he could find, and that happened to be Impeys jersey. Poor Darryl never had a chance, but Bos did not do that out of purpose, or with the goal to throw him off or take him down. That's ridicolous, you should be locked up for life if you do that for that reason. But it's simply not the case. He panicked and did something very stupid as reflex, but to shout murder and death about it, or ask for bans, is ridicolous.

I think that most people agree that he didn't do it to intentionally hurt Impey. That said, what Bos did was incredibly stupid, and if I were a pro cyclist, I wouldn't want to have a guy like Bos, who'd take me down in his fall, in the peloton. Some sort of punishment is needed.

What Bos did wasn't of course in purpose, but it needs a punishment, what he did is some sort of professional fault, EVEN THOUGH it wasn't on purpose

By the way, Daryl Impey updated his website:
"Well the final day of Tour of Turkey is over. It was really bitter-sweet for me as I would've like to enjoy the moment in yellow afterwards with my team who worked so hard to keep the jersey. I got taken down deliberately by Bos from Rabobank, you can even see it on youtube, only one word for him and that is a true chophead. He doesn't deserve to race anymore and I am thinking about going to the UCI about his dangerous riding. He tried to pass me 700m to go in the bunch sprint but there was no-where to go and all of a sudden I felt a hand on my shoulder pulling me into the barriers. We both crashed.
I was taken down really hard and I broke a tooth, got stitches in my face and elbow and the worst part is that I have a slight fracture in L1 part of my bike so I am forced to lie in an hospital bed on my back without moving. It is very frustrating and really was not how I was expecting to enjoy my day in yellow. I would've have won it if I didn't have Patrick Calgani with me, I told him I want to finish. He said lie down, the ambulance will pick you up. I told him no, even if I take an hour to cross the line I will because I have ridden too hard and dug too deep to give it to someone else and my team had ridden so well, was the least I could do.
Patrick pushed me all the way and I crossed the line when I then lay on the side waiting for the ambulance. Even though I never made the podium, me team went up for me and will be remembered. I can tell you I'm going to see Bos again and tell him exactly what a chophead he is. No wonder he has come nowhere in the kicks this week, probably too busy trying be a hero and show everyone how he did it on the track.
All I can say is thanks for all the wishes and also for all the support I have got. Rob has been organising things this side to make sure all is taken care with team management and I will probably out of hospital Tuesday morning. I will have to be transported on a stretcher because I can't sit in order for the fracture to heal. My team also left Mario to spend the day with me and help me with the luggage and travelling as well as giving me some company. Good way to brush up on my Italian.
Well I this being said when I woke up today knowing I won the yellow jersey, green jersey,1 stage, 1 3rd place I can really have something to smile about. I will celebrate once I get better but for the moment its all about getting better before the giro d italia where I hope this won't affect my chances."

Well I would be mad as well, it's his right to be mad. I would be furieus at Bos. It was incredibly stupid and dumb.
Bos should simply get a big fine, for example, pay Impeys material and immaterial damage.
But to suspend him? He hasn't cheated, he panicked.

Anyway looking to the replay atleast 20 more times (crue's zoomed in movie), i have to agree thats Bos was out of balance and that he probably panicked.
That being said he should keep his hands of the shirt of Impey. He should be punished for this no mather what cuz this is dangerous. That be a suspension or a big fine is up to the uci.
EDIT: so yes i came back on my own opinion

Ok, after a day i've decided my opinion.
Bos clearly grabbed Impey's jersey and threw him into the barriers, not enough was seen on camera to make a decision on whose fault it was. From the video it does look like Bos.
Did he do it on purpose? Probally not, only he can tell us that, but the fact remains, he still did it. I'm going to also say he must be punished. A fine or a ban of a few weeks should be fine. A year is far too long.
But what is also clear is that Van Impey is away from the barriers whereas Bos is close to them.
My only explination (and it;s been said before):
Bos was going to fall, he had the instinct to grab something to stop him, he grabbed Van Impey. Although sense tells you that was never going to work.
So punish Bos, get this over with.
