Let's pick up the action from where we left off.
--- *** --- *** --- *** ---
9th Place: 5 Points | Need 3rd Place |
8th Place: 6 Points | Need 3rd Place |
7th Place: 7 Points | Need 3rd Place |
6th Place: 8 Points | Need 3rd Place |
5th Place: 9 Points | Eliminated |
So close. I gave it everything I had but came up two spots short.
For it being my first time on the track and to finish 4th at Junior Districts
some people would have said that's an amazing feat, but I didn't feel that way.
I felt like I should have done better, that I should have made it to Nationals.
This was my opportunity to make a name for myself and I squandered it.

Almost, almost, almost. So sad to see him leave like that.

Nooo...
Oh well, plenty of time to do better, and what would life be without the occasional failure?

That would have been a hell of an impulse for your career. Upside is you can focus on the road now

I've decided I'm not going to put up anymore episode names in advance in the first post (but I will still keep the names up that I have already put out for you to see) because I'm getting to the point where the one word titles will give away the plot line. It's just too much of a spoiler for you guys to handle.
That said I'm still trying to work about 3-4 episodes ahead of what I post for you guys to see that way I won't let your comments dictate or influence the running plot line I have worked out in my head. And as of right now I'm actually currently working on S3E4, so you have a lot to look forward too.

I took that 4th place in the SCNCA trick districts quite hard.
It was a few weeks before I could even get myself back on my bike.
First because I needed to refocus, and second it was July and the Tour was on.
Sitting in my apartment and watching the 2009 Tour de France reminded me
why I wanted to be a cyclist and the reason I left home almost a year ago.
And perhaps the only sane reason why Armstrong made his comeback.
Cycling is extremely hard, not only physically but mentally as well.
But when you have the desire and passion to compete the pain is temporary,
as the reward of victory makes everything you worked so hard for worth it.
If I was going to make this cycling thing work I needed to start getting results.
So with that in mind, I start entering local amateur races again as there
weren't anymore prestigious cycling races in California for Kyle to get me into.
