The Columbia sprint train

Tour Down Under Final Stage
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/PCM0011-4.png

Big breakaway group. But the stage is too short to make a huge difference and win the stage
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/PCM0012-3.png

Same riders in our train but it seems that they will work for Maaskant who is behind Eisel
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/PCM0014-2.png

Ignatiev is doing a great job there leading us and the whole pack
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/PCM0016-2.png

But Eisel doesn't seem to be in his mood as a lead-out man. Now he and Maaskant are behind
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/PCM0018-1.png

Petacchi is leading in the last corner. O'Grady is after him
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/PCM0020-1.png

Maaskant is coming really fast now in the last metres, but O'Grady is still there and he won't probably be able to take the orange jersey at the end
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/PCM0021-1.png

Petacchi wins! O'Grady is second and he keeps the orange jersey winning the final overall rankings. Maaskant was third which means that he fisnihed second overall, in his first race with Team Columbia

Tour of Qatar Stage 3
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/PCM0001-16.png

With 7km to go the pack is really split by the wind. Cornu, Cavendish, Boom, Hagen and Wiggins are in the first group while Martin, Zabriskie and Phinney are left behind
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/PCM0002-11.png

It seems that Cavendish is going to be lead-out today by Wiggins and Hagen
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/PCM0003-10.png

But he sudenly loses Hagen's wheel and is left behind
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/PCM0004-5.png

Too bad that that happened as Wiggins and Hagen are now leading the pack
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/PCM0005-6.png

Acceleration by Passeron and nobody can keep it up with him
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/PCM0006-7.png

Cavendish is really fast in the last metre but it's too late
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/PCM0007-6.png

Passeron takes the stage win. He is also the new overall leader

Hi, are you going to make a new story when PCM 09 comes out? (maybe about Lance and his comeback?)

alexkr00
even if I will make a PCM09 story no way it will be about Armstrong or Astana or anything like thatWink

mowinckel91
Ok, still think many would've read your 09 story if you did, but its about having fun as well =)

alexkr00
I see no reason to start a new story as this one is going pretty well I would say and I also want to see how much Boom, Meersman, Ciolek, Hagen or Phinney can progress. That's why I think now it's more fun that at the begining as now the young guns are able to fight with some fo the bestWink

mowinckel91
I see, can you post their stats, please=)?

alexkr00
check on the previous pageWink

chrica04
Phinney doesn't look like he has progressed to much?

alexkr00
the progresion isn't very fast for any rider. And 72 TT at 19 years old is pretty good.

ursul
For sure.
