It's a very flat Tour compared to the 09 Giro at least

Not really. Cavendish couldn't be at top in some of the stages in this Tour, while Eisel and Hagen will be there to kick some asses.

Le Tour de France Stage 8
The breakaway. They had over 12 minutes advantage but still the pack caught them
We dominated the sprint on the land, now it's time to do the same on the sea.
The sprint started with use clearly in front of the rest of the trains. Only the guys that were setting the pace in the pack are there with us
Hincapie has a great day. It's very hard for Hagen to take over him
But not for Eisel
Eisel takes the lead and it seems that no one can beat him in the Tour sprints this year
Hincapie sprints well. This could be a 1-2
Eisel gets his fourth stage win in this year's Tour! Hincapie is second and it's a double for Team Columbia!
No not a double! Hagen is third which means 1-2-3 for Columbia! Incredible! After the race Hincapie, Hagen and Eisel dedicated this to Silence.

You and Guido(referring to the Bosskardo-episode ) certainly started the new "deny and exaggerate"-principle instead of the old "listen to and learn from", when it comes to critisism
The winning-streak makes the story a little too predictable

We are pleased to announce...
...our first sign for the 2010 season
Yes, our first new rider in for the 2010 season in Martijn Maaskant. He will be our leader for the cobble classics and cobble races. He is a good cobbler already and with some promises for the future, that can time trial as well or go over hills, which is need in some cobble races. He is a good fighter so he can also help in the sprint, where he can be a great lead-out for our star sprinters. Talking about sprints he can beat any of his northen classics rivals if the fight for the win will be in 2.
Looking at the Dutch's abilities the main goals of the season seem to be Paris - Roubaix, Gent - Wevelgem and the Tour of Flanders. He could also do well in the national championships, both road race and time-trial. Martijn has a good chance to ride a grand tour, which could be Giro or the Tour.

Marty Maas joins the "other" major American team. Great move to bring him in. Hopefully he can win a Paris-Roubaix or a Ronde.

Congrats on the signing of Maaskant. He should fit in with your squad nicely in the the cobbled classics. I hate to see him leave Garmin but glad he went to Columbia

I think that he left Garmin because it looks like they wont get promote this year either. His morale was good, but maybe he wants to be at a higher level.
