For Tour of Qatar Mark Cavendish will be the team lider and Lars Boom will make his debut at seniors.
The team:
Leader: Mark Cavendish
Sprint Helpers: Marcel Sieberg (also good in TT) , Edvald Boasson Hagen (also good in TT), Greg Henderson
The rest of the team are time trialist that will help me in the first stage :Lars Boom, Adam Hansen, Bradley Wiggins, Bert Grabsch

Marcel Siberg crossed first the line and he will wear tomorrow the yellow jersey. He is also the best young rider but the jersey will be wear by Mark Cavendish

11 riders were in front. Bauke Mollema, Simon Spilak and David de la Fuente were there!!!
On the hardest climb of the day Bennati tried an attack, but nothig seriously
Then Devolder attacked. That really looked like a great oneB)
Stijn Devolder takes the victory but the bunch came in the same time

Nice one, Alex, so far.
And I wouldn't worry about the TDU results.
If your sprinters have around 50 fitness it'll be really difficult to win a stage.
Good win in Qatar though with Cav - and looking at the other guys in the Top 5 you may well sweep this race.

There was a massive breakaway group
Eisel is in the first position in the last km but Boonen follows him
And the winner is Boonen
If you don't look carefuly you will not see Boonen and you'll think that Eisel is the winner

There were a lot of breakaway groups
the back with bert grabsch
and the front
With 41 km to go the wind became a problem. 5 'columbia' riders were in the first group of the bunch plus bert grabsch in the breakaway
17 km to go.....
...only 34 riders can mantain a good speed and a place in front
The sprint starts with Cavendish behind Hagen and Sieberg
Cavendish couldn't get the win, just a small 3rd place
But the winner of the stage is Marcel Sieberg

I was looking on the February calendar and i was wonder in wich race to compete except Tour of California, GP Mediterraneen, Tour Du Var
But I don't think that are enough for the first period of season preparation, any sugestions except those 3?

And they start in an another flat stage in Qatar
Rabobank held the front of the bunch in the first half of the stage
The breakaway with a maximum of 5 min advantage of the bunch
The second half of the stage Francaise Des Jeux have the first position in cathing the breakaway
The train for the first time in this tour didn't have a good position when the spirnt starts because Lars Boom was the first rider, not Edvald Boasson like the other times
Marco Bandiera from Lampre takes the stage in front of Sieberg and Cavendish, who maintain his 1st position in the overall points and young
