Le Tour de France Stage 1
Karpets was the first man on the road in Le Tour 2009 and he came with a pretty good time
Hagen was the first rider to start from Team Columbia. Not a great time though
Right after Hagen, came Cancellara with a fantastic time. It's going to he hard to beat that time
Lovkvist had a good time, but he's goal isn't the general classment. He wants to keep is polka dot jersey won last year
Quinziato is the Italian champion but he didn't looked too interested to win today
Rogers is in top form after the good performance in Dauphine and he has a good time, not bad
Kirchen, our leader, got a good time and tomorro it's going to be a day for riders like him so he has a chance to get the yellow prise.
Larrson couldn't beat his team-mate
Kloden is one of the Tour's favourite and he did well today, in the prologue, promising start
Hincapie's performances are far away from what he did last year. The news that he will leave the team seem to really affect him
Evans recived no.1 for this Tour and many people see him like the big favourite, he's the winner of Vuelta 2008
From the favourites Menchov was cleary the best today, he was the closest to beat Cancellara
Gerdemann is the white jersey last year, but thise year he can't compete in that classment anymore
Luis Leon Sanchez is AG2R's big hope but he was kinda dissapoiting today
Thomas Dekker doesn't seem to be in a great form at the moment. He lost the both national titles and doesn't have a fantastic time today
Martin showed a good form in the German Championships, but the Tour seems to be too hard for him
Contador is maybe the big favourite and today he showed that he can do well in TTs
Popovych will be Evans' team-mate and the time-trials are the only place where he can show his power
Wiggins was the last man that could beat Cancellara today but he was far away.

Finally I've caught up with you in this story!
Truly a great read, and it looks like you've got something godd going! keep up the good work!
If children have the ability to ignore all odds and percentages, then maybe we can all learn from them. When you think about it, what other choice is there but to hope? We have two options, medically and emotionally: give up, or Fight Like Hell.

Le Tour de France Stage 2
The breakaway with riders like Nuyens and Pineau. Nuyens will be in polka dot next day.
Disaster for Columbia and Gerdemann with 30km to go. Punchture for Gerdemann
The pack is moving really fast at the moment and Gerdemann has no chance to get back in the pack. He will lose almost 7 minutes at the end of the day
Attack by Kim Kirchen on the last hill
He got away and nobody went with him
He tries to maintain his advantage on the downhill
But is hard as Astarloa is coming really fast
With Astarloa slowing down Kirchen's advantage became a little bit bigger and he has a good chance to win now that the Topsort Vlaanderen riders are in front of the pack
Kirchen wins the stage! But he couldn't win any place in the overall rankings as this year they have eliminated the bonification. At least he will wear tomorro the green jersey, which is our sponsor goal fort The Tour this year.

Le Tour de France Stage 3
The breakaway. Nuyens is again there, we wins some more KoM points and maintains the polka dot jersey
Hincapie, Hagen and Eisel are ready for the sprint today. Eisel and Hagen look a little bit tired after the last hill
And Big George brings them in front
The sprint starts...
Hagen does a great job but not a long one as he doesn't have a lot of energy left in his legs
Eisel knows that and he accelerates. No good sprint arround him
That was a great acceleration, the others can just look how Eisel and the stage win are going away from them
Eisel wins!!! This is already the second stage win for Team Columbia! Eisel has now 50 points in the green jersey competition as yesterday he finished 11th without a real effort as the stage winner was his team-mate, Kim Kirchen.
