Devine was in the breakaway.

But the escapes had no chance when the big names came

Still good news for Columbia as no one can keep at Kirchen's pace

Very easy win for Kim today

boonen seems to be the only decent cobbled rider available. I´d suggest him if u have the money, which I don´t think you have Grin

maybe cobo. you´ll have someone for the gp al pais vasco and vuelta espana.
or rebellin, but then he´ll be a contender to kirchen in the classics.

I would place my money on rebellin, and make kirchen focus only about the tour! just let kirchen ride paris nice . gp al pais vasco, amstel, fleche wallonne then dauphine.
that´s how I do with contador in my team. then you can concentrate rebellin on the classics, and kirchen can assist him there Grin
I don´t know rebellins hilly stats though.

alexkr00
I have the money. Don't forget that Hincapie is leavind, plus I already have more than 100,000 on my salary cap left. Boonen could be good for cobbles and sprint (cobbled races and classics + one GT the one that had more hills, the other 2 for Cav as he is not so good on hills).
About Cobo and Rebellin no. No way I will sign those 2. I don't like Cobo, so Karpets would be a better choice for some one week races and Vuelta. About Rebellin is getting really old and I won't sign riders that already are more than 30 years old, plus I think that he stats are already decreasing from the start of the carrer.

Dauphine Libere Stage 1
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0001-1.png

Cancellara came with a great time from the early beggining
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0002-1.png

All our stars Rogers, Hincapie, Martin, Hagen, Wiggins, Grabsch, Lovkvist tried to beat him but they have no chance
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0003-1.png

Evans is the big favourite this year in Dauphine but he isn't even close to win the prologue
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0004-1.png

Kloden is the main opponent for Evans and he starts the race with a good performance in the prologue, second behind Cancellara.

I'd have expected more from Wiggins but hey a prologue means nothing!

Go Team Columbia Grin

I hate this kind of races, the leght of this prologue wasn't 8km like it's showed on the stage profile. It wasn't even close to 8km, there were only 2km so it's hard to get a top speed in just 2km

Rebellin is a horrible investment. He can't ride more than 2(max. 3) seasons and his stats will decrease every moment of that time.

However Juan José Cobo Acebo, as you also mentioned, sounds interesting Smile

Le'Sheep: If life's a bitch use a knife to get over it.

But Cobo isn't as good as Karpets on TT, Rec, Sta or ResPfft

And Cobo stil could renew his contractWink

How expensive is he then? Pfft

Maybe Antón? That'd add a pure, talented climber to your squad Pfft

alexkr00
if I don't want to sign him as a free agent for sure I won't do that when he has already a contract and I will have to spend more money.

And I'm not lookin for climbers, I'm looking for stage racers that can do very well in TTWink

Silence
Ok.

Dauphine Libere Stage 2
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0001-2.png

The breakaway. There was a big name, Ballan, but he didn't fight for anything, he didn't even looked interested for the KoM jersey. This probably was just a training for him as maybe he wants a Tour de France stage win.
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0003-2.png

Hincapie, Hagen and Eisel are heading to the front. This could be our train for the Tour as well
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0004-2.png

Hincapie isn't in top form so he can't help Eisel too much and the Austrian champion has now only Hagen near to help him
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0005-1.png

But Hagen can't help him too much either and Eisel gets in the slipstream of the Rabo guys
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0006-1.png

Accelerations at the same time by Eisel and Barbosa...
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0007.png

And again the Portuguesse guy beats us. Sad

While other got an offer but weren't really please with it and they are still waiting: Garate, Paolini, Pfannberger

Dauphine Libere Stage 3
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0001-3.png

The breakaway.
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0003-3.png

Some attacks on the last climb...
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0004-3.png

And five riders are in front on the downhill, 1 minute advantage over the pack. Those riders are Rogers, Sastre, Ricco, Moreau and Popovych, but the Ukrainian isn't working as his team Silence-Lotto is setting the pace in the pack for their leader, Cadel Evans.
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0005-2.png

2 riders are down in the pack. Loosli and the yellow jersey, Fabian Cancellara
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0009.png

An attack by Ricco, he wants the stage win

Veenendaal - Veenendaal
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0001-4.png

Van Heerden is in the breakaway
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0003-4.png

But sudenly the strong wind puts him down and he has to retire from the race
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0004-4.png

Also because of the strong wind Burghardt couldn't go to the front of the pack
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0006-2.png

So Ciolek had to do all the job by himself
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0008.png

Without the team support Gerald couldn't do anything, and the battle for the win was between Van Hummel and Gasparotto
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0012-1.png

Finally the victory went to Silence Lotto and Enrico Gasparotto

Dauphine Libere Stage 4
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0016-1.png

The terrain isn't really flat so we won't epect much from Wiggins and Grabsch
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0018-1.png

But we expect much more from Hincapie and Tony Martin
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0021.png

Again Cancellara comes with a fanatastic time. This could be his second TT win in Dauphine this year.
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0020.png

Good times for Lovkvist and Kloden. Like in the prologue Kloden is close to beat Cancellara but he is behind at the end
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0025.png

The Silence - Lotto duo is the most close to beat Cancellara, but neither Evans or Popovych can take the lead
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/June%2009/PCM0028.png

Rogers cames with a good performance that keeps him in top 5 at the moment

Ricco lost today the yellow jersey but he maintains his ass on the podium as the TT was a little bit hilly and he didn't lose so much time
