Giro d'Italia Stage 17
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0001-5.png

A massive breakaway group today. Some teams had even 2 riders there.
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0003-5.png

Seeing that they have a good chance to get the win today the escapes start to attack each other
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0004-6.png

And Oroz took the race on his own
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0005-5.png

The others came really fast in the final metres hoping that he will crack
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0006-4.png

But that didn't happend and the Spanish/Basque takes the biggest win of his carrer
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0007-3.png

Too bad that the escapes weren't caught by the pack as we domintated the sprint there. Cav could took there his 4th win this year in Giro, with Boom, Van Emden and Ignatiev right after him
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0008-6.png

An important thing that happend in the pack was Pozzovivo's crash
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0009-3.png

Though that he got fast back in the saddle he coudn't finish the stage in the same time with the pack

Gustavovskiy
That Giro is really becoming tougher and tougher! With Schleck and Dekker with more than 10min of delay I see that must be really hard to compete for a top10 with Rogers...

He was 16th before this stage. After Pozzovivo's crash he is 15th, no chance for top 10Sad

Giro d'Italia Stage 18
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0001-6.png

Siutsou couldn't won more than a climb today and just 10 points were added to his total
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0003-6.png

Bruseghin leads the pack on the last climb in this year's Giro, on Isola 2000.
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0004-7.png

An the first move is made by the Dutch talent, Robert Gesink
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0006-5.png

With no other team-mates left in the main group, Cunego needs to do the chasing job himself
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0008-7.png

But Ricco attacks and Cunego has to go after him
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0010-5.png

And soon Cunego proves to be the strongest once more, he leads alone
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0012-3.png

Ricco and Pellizotti are chasing him down
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0014-2.png

Soler is the fourth man on the road at the moment
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0015-3.png

Then a group with all the stars Simoni, Sella, Gesink and the others
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0017-2.png

With 3km to go Damiano still leads. If he wins today the Giro is almost over and Siutsou will lose the green/KoM jersey
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0019-1.png

But just before the final kilometre Ricco and Pellizotti did it. They caught Cunego
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0021.png

The fight for the stage win is going to be once more between Ricco and Cunego as Pellizotti doesn't seem to be intereted for that
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0023.png

Impressive acceleration by Ricco...
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0025.png

And he wins and Ricardo is now in pole-position for the final win in Giro as I think he can get those 33 seconds from Cunego in the last TT. It is a long TT and Ricco is better than Cunego on time-trial so many specialists think that he is the big favourite, but we will see, still 2 flat stage to go except that TT.

Giro d'Italia Stage 19
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0001-7.png

The breakaway.
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0003-7.png

A lot of Liquigas riders at the back just before the final sprint. And sudenly one of them is down
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0004-8.png

Numer 37... It's Nibali!
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0005-6.png

Somehow Van Emden lost Cav's wheel, again.
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0007-4.png

Only 3 riders in the train now for us. Ignatiev and Boom ready to put Cavendish in the perfect position
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0010-6.png

And Mark took perfectly the wheel of Boom for the last 2km of the stage
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0011-4.png

But Bettini is in our splipstream, looking dangerous for the stage win
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0014-3.png

Cav takes the lead with a beatifull acceleration
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0015-4.png

Bettini and Ricco (?!) are coming really fast...
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0017-3.png

But they can't stop, Mark Cavendish of taking his fourth Giro stage win
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0019-2.png

Van Emden wasn't there to help Cav but he seems very happy for the Brits' victory

yeah I think that too. A very long TT (over 50km if I think) and Ricco has 69TT while Cunego only 66 plus Ricco was in better form in the last stages, Cunego won that time in the first stages.

JDC
Let's all keep our fingers crossed and hope that Cunego can still beat Ricco.

Giro d'Italia Stage 20
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0001-8.png

Lang was the first rider to come with a 'time' there
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0002-6.png

But then the Columbia army came and everyone forgot about Lang. Wiggins is now the leader
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0003-8.png

With Zabriskie and Ignatiev on the podium to support the Brit.=
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0004-9.png

Boom and Pinotti performed good as well
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0006-6.png

Clement, Bruseghin, Gutierrez and Schumacher had good times, but can one of them win? The favourites aren't great TT'ers maybe except Rogers, Dekker and Nibali
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0008-8.png

So here they are. Rogers had a good time but not for even a top5 stage, at least he got a place in top 15 overall beating Kohl
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0011-5.png

Nibali was there second behind Guttierez. Only the Dutch TT Champion can stop the Spanish TT champion win today
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0012-4.png

And Thomas Dekker is unbeliveble. He beats Gutierrez's time with almost 3 minutes. That's for sure enough to win today. Also his team-mate and compatriot, Robert Gesink surprised with a great time today
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0013-3.png

And now the battle for the pink jersey. Ricco was clearly in front of Cunego at the 2 intermediate posts, but what about now?
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0016-2.png

Cunego finishes and... he lost somewhere at 1 minute to Ricco and just lost the Giro. Only a crash can help him now getting the pink jersey back from Ricco but that's not very likely to happen.

Almost 3 min, that has to be a bug (DOPER Wink )

And the other doper wins the race...suck!

Bosskardo
Check the race profile, last checkpoint was 44km and finish was 33km. What was the real lenght?

56km... so 3 minutes could be normal as Dekker is a better climber than the other TT'ers so he had more energy left in his feetWink

Giro d'Italia Final Stage
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0001-9.png

The breakaway.
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0002-7.png

We are heading to the front. Will these be Mark's fifth win?
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0003-9.png

But sudenly Ignatiev goes down
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0005-7.png

Boom hits his bike and crashes too
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0007-5.png

The same thing happens with Van Emden
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0009-4.png

Oh no, disaster for Columbia! Cavendish is down too
i657.photobucket.com/albums/uu300/alexkr09/May%2009/PCM0011-6.png

Without us the sprint was really boring, with Forster leading all the way and winning
