The Columbia sprint train

My point is but this: I love the way you make you story - it's fun and exciting with good SS'. But when you know what's gonna come next, it's just not near as thrilling actually reading it Pfft

Well I think alex has improved that aspect this season. Seeying 1-2 with Columbia isn't bizarre at all to me.

With the developing of the story you aknowledge that the results aren't as you say. In some flat stage races (or similar) alex is able to dominate widely but that doesn't happen all the time as you say

that prooves that he didn't read the whole story and he is talking about some things that he doesn't know.

And wacko I will think abou that.

Now let me make the report for the next stage

I haven't followed the story for a very long time, and no, I never said a 1-2 with f.ex. Cav and Greipel are weird, it's just, from everything that I've seen he is always playing for, and mostly also achieving, the win. I've never seen one of his riders in a major crisis, f.ex. losing his lead by getting a beat in the mountains.

That sort of thing is normally what spice up the experience for me, so I know it's not just a piece of cake all of it - and the last part is what I'm seeing in a quite large degree atm Smile

I'm just saying it now so this story won't evolve into an uninteresting win-orgie Smile

and Cavendish became better on downhills and flat which helps him recovery from some of the hills. He is also better in STA, RES and REC now

This is a story with a strong PT team not a shity CT team to fight for top10 small races

I'm fine with all that, and it's natural he takes almost every flat stage he drives, I'm just warning you of the spoilers that comes with winning all the time Smile

So you're saying Kirchen is likely to dominate most of the PT stageraces he participate in? Smile

Btw, you seem a little angry?

Giro d'Italia Stage 7
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0001-6.png

Both Kroon and Masciarelli went in the breakaway for the KoM jersey thought that it's obvious that the stage winner will get it
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0004-6.png

Ricco, Schleck, Soler and Dekker made the first attacks on the last climb of the day
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0005-3.png

Right after that Rogers and some other riders cracked and lost the contact with the main pack
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0006-2.png

After a few more kilometres in front are Soler, Garzelli, Dekker, Schleck, Ricco and Simoni
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0007-2.png

But they are caught by the pack after a fast pace set up by Nibali. He is probably working for Pellizotti
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0009-3.png

An attack by Sella and only the motos can keep it up with him first
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0011-2.png

Though Pellizotti, Soler and Dekker have the power to go after him and even catch him
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0013-1.png

But again the attackers are caught. This time Cunego was the main pace-man
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0015-1.png

Sella attacks again in the last kilometre
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0017.png

Only Gesink and Cunego can stop him from winning the stage today
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0019.png

But they don't and Sella gets the win
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0021.png

Cunego is second and grabs the pink jersey
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0023.png

Rogers performed well and he is now 11th overall, 1 minute behind Pozzovivo though
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0025.png

Van Emden, the purple jersey wearer finished in a group with Cavendish and Wiggins, 3 minutes before the last grupetto which are good news not to be disqualifed in the next mountain stages

Giro d'Italia Stage 8
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/PCM0001-7.png

The breakaway is looking better. They might have a chance to win today, who knows.
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/PCM0002-5.png

And there were some crashes in the pack. 2 big names went down, one is Pozzovivo
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/PCM0008-4.png

The other one is Schleck
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/PCM0006-3.png

Only the 2 riders from Agritubel were caught, the other escapes are still in front. Boom is the first lead-out man today as he is a speed demon on downhills
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/PCM0004-2.png

The escapes were caught too late so they fight for the stage win who finally went to Pineau
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/PCM0010-2.png

Cavendish, Ignatiev and Van Emden were the firsts riders in the pack

i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0001-7.png

Ignatiev is in the breakaway today.
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0002-1.png

On the last climb he is the only escape that wasn't caught but the pack is coming fast
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0003-6.png

And he is caught with just 3km to go
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0005-4.png

The uphill sprint starts with Albasini and Sella in front
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0006-3.png

An acceleretation by Garzelli... He takes the lead!
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0008-5.png

In the last corner he almost made a gap between him and the others
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0010-4.png
