The Columbia sprint train
alexkr00
thanks guys. I think that I will use the same strategy in the next stage

Giro d'Italia Stage 6
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0001-5.png

4 riders in the day's breakaway.
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0003-5.png

Same tactics as yesterday for Columbia with Van Emden behind Cavendish
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0004-5.png

Ignatiev owns them all with no other big sprinter close to us
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0006-1.png

When Boom takes the lead the gap between us and the rest became even bigger
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0008-4.png

And it's seems like going to be a 100% Columbia business for the podium
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0011-1.png

Boom looks behind, no one is coming he can celebrate now
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0012-1.png

Van Emden is second and except Cavendish he wins points over everyone
i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp244/alexkr00/Giro%2009/PCM0014.png

And the big winner of the day is Mark Cavendish, second stage win for Cav after the stage won yesterday, which also are his firsts GT wins

I'm sorry to say that the constant, neverending series of victories and lack of any kinds of defeat is bummin' me out and drags this story down a notch imo Sad

Everything but that is great Smile

whats wrong winning?

Silence
It get's very dull reading about a team that has nothing but succes in everything they're doing - ruins the excitement and anticipation for each update

but what do you want to see Cavendish losing a sprint in front of Elmiger, Gasparotto or Koldo Fernandez?

Silence
I don't want you to stage anything, I just don't want you to win 4/5 races you are in and dominating all the jerseys, it's completely unrealistic and, as I said, sucks the excitement out of the story - you always know what's gonna happen, either you win or get a top 5, securing your overall lead.

Just go extreme or something, 'cause from my point of view it's waaaaaaaaaaay too easy for you as of now.

where the fuck I'm dominating all the jerseys. I dominate the point one cause Columbia is the best sprint team in the Wolrd and in PCM too. Rogers is second only because the mountains didn't come yet just a TT and a hilly stage

kirosha
What level is it? Normal?

alexkr00
Hard.

Silence
I'm not talking about this race only, and please, calm down, I'm just coming with some criticism, relaxe.

My point is, you win almost everything - sometimes just don't go for it, it's uncrealistic when a team tries to win close to every race they run:
Overall
Romandie
1. Kim Kirchen Team Columbia 18h20'39 (won several stages)
Georgia
1. Michael Rogers Team Columbia 25h41'57 (won several stages)
Grimpeurs
1. Mikhail Ignatiev Team Columbia 3h06'45
LBL
1. Kim Kirchen Team Columbia 7h11'46
País Vasco
1. Kim Kirchen Team Columbia 21h10'16

Plus top 5 and 3 in Amstel and Flèche and a couple of stages in País Vasco.

These are the last races you've done and the outcome of them are quite similar (I only excluded the Giro itself because it is not done). You win them all or perform extremely well - only in the cobbles you don't really get many major results over and over (lately only the win in GW), but I guess that's 'cause you're better at the other aspects of the game, which shows.
We have to go back to around PN before more humble results starts to emerge and even then they're above decent. A team just can't maintain such performances, realistically and Kirchen should be pretty tired by now with all the wins.

EDIT: Don't get me wrong I like your story very much, it's just becoming kinda repetitive which I think is a bad thing Smile

Kirchen is 81 hills so only 2 riders are better than him. Valverde and Schleck.

Neither of them was in Romandie or Vuelta al Pais Vasco so it's ok for Kirchen to be the best there as no one was even close to his stats
As I said Kirchen is one of the best puncheurs in the game so podiums and win(s) are also expected on Ardennes Classics

Ignatiev's opponents in France were some shity Frenchies that never win anything

Rogers didn't win any stage in Georgia, that was Cavendish, the closest sprinter to his stats was Maaskant (73 sprint) and Zabriskie's win in TT, which is also quite predicteble

Silence
Still, he's constantly winning - again and again which just isn't realistic.

Ignatiev is just a case of many, I just don't think your team would try anything in such a race = waste of energy for bigger races.
I didn't say, they were the ones who won, I just said you won.

What DB is this if he's the third best puncheur?

The only thing I'm asking for is some variation. I have yet to see you fail a stage where you really try winning.

Your explanations makes op for some of the results, but if you look at the PT-calendars for the past years noone has driven as well as you have that many races in a row Smile

It's the first RNDB. If you don't like the way that I make my story stop reading.
And in France for example with the team that I had there I could easily got the first 8 places but I didn't want that, just wanted to give Ignatiev a morale bust for Giro where he will be just a domestique in the sprint train.

Silence
I won't, I just wanna help make it more realistic (unless you don't go for realism Smile)

My point is but this: I love the way you make you story - it's fun and exciting with good SS'. But when you know what's gonna come next, it's just not near as thrilling actually reading it Pfft
