Tour du Haut Var
A lot of French team had riders today in the breakaway.
Kirchen tried an attack on the last hill but there wasn't the right place and after just a few seconds the pack catches him
So we are now in the last 10km. A lot of serious attacks, some of them are made by big names like Chavanel, Pineau, Valverde and Rebellin
Ignatiev is our only rider that tries somethin there
But nobody could keep up with Valverde today
Pineau and Rebellin start the sprint behind Valverde but it could be only for the second spot
And it was. Valverde gets a great win
Pineau wins the fight for the second place
Ignatiev finishes fourth
Results
1. Alejandro Valverde Caisse d'Epargne 4h58'55
2. Jérôme Pineau Bouygues Télécom s.t.
3. Davide Rebellin LPR Brakes - Ballan s.t.
4. Mikhail Ignatiev Team Columbia + 40
5. Nick Nuyens Cofidis, Le Crédit par Téléphone + 55
6. Benoit Vaugrenard Française des Jeux s.t.
7. Christian Pfannberger Barloworld s.t.
8. Sylvain Chavanel Cofidis, Le Crédit par Téléphone s.t.
9. Sébastien Joly Française des Jeux s.t.
10. Eduardo Gonzalo Agritubel s.t.

Omloop Het Volk
4 strong riders where in the breakaway. Burghardt, Baldato, Rast and Hushovd
Ballan made an early move. He caught the escapes and only Baldato can continue with him, the others are left behind
But soon Baldato craks and Ballan will go alone from now. His advantage over his bigest rivalls is more than 3 minutes !
And all his rivalls are in the same group. A strong chasing group lead by Silence Lotto, Quick Step and CSC
Our leader, George Hincapie is there in a pretty good position
While Eisel fights to hand on at the back of the group
Gilbert tried to go alone after Ballan
Devolder attacked later and tried to help Gilbert but Ballan is too far
And Ballan wins the first cobbled race of the 2009 season. Perfect start for him as nobody could compete with him today
Gilbert beats with Devolder and takes the second place
A nice 10th place for Hincapie I would say
Results
1. Alessandro Ballan Lampre 5h16'12
2. Philippe Gilbert Française des Jeux + 2'44
3. Stijn Devolder Quick·Step + 3'08
4. Stuart O'Grady Quick·Step + 3'42
5. Vladimir Gusev Astana Cycling Team s.t.
6. Fabian Cancellara Team CSC - Saxo Bank s.t.
7. Sebastian Langeveld Rabobank s.t.
8. Juan Antonio Flecha Rabobank s.t.
9. Nick Nuyens Cofidis, Le Crédit par Téléphone s.t.
10. George Hincapie Team Columbia s.t.

That's the only thing that Hincapie is missing... A victory in the cobbles!
Did you try anything with him or was he just to weak?

I tried to with him after Gilber and Devolder but didn't have enough energy left after those cobbled hills

anyway good luck

Kuurne - Brussel - Kuurne
No breakaway today, and the pack is slowly lead by CSC and Quick Step
After the last cobbled hill Eisel, De Waele, Breschel, Klier and Ljungqvist gaines some metres over the rest of the pack
But they don't look very good as the first big name makes his move, is Gilbert
Then Flecha
O'Grady attacks, Hincapie is right after him
And finally the rest of the big names with Cancellara in front
Breschel and Klier are still in front but their adventure is going to end soon.
And it does when a group of favourites lead by Gilbert and Hincapie catches them
The final battle is between O'Grady, Cancellara and Devolder, who was very fast in the last kilometres of the race
And the winner is... Cancellara!
A better position now for Hincapie, 6th
Results
1. Fabian Cancellara Team CSC - Saxo Bank 5h02'10
2. Stuart O'Grady Quick·Step s.t.
3. Stijn Devolder Quick·Step s.t.
4. Leif Hoste Silence - Lotto s.t.
5. Philippe Gilbert Française des Jeux s.t.
6. George Hincapie Team Columbia s.t.
7. Vladimir Gusev Astana Cycling Team s.t.
8. Johan Vansummeren Silence - Lotto s.t.
9. Grégory Rast Astana Cycling Team s.t.
10. Greg Van Avermaet Silence - Lotto s.t.

Vuelta a Murcia Stage 1
The breakaway. Nothing important about them except the battle for the KOM jersey
With 7.5km to go the pack is split into two groups. Pereiro, Cobo, Gomez Marchante, Van Goolen, Barredo, Danielson, Lastras, Plaza, Beltran, Kreuziger are the big names caught in a trap in the second group
While in front Ignatiev is doing a great job as always
Only Del Nero can keep it up with Boom and our train in the first phase
Van Emden takes the lead. Now our rivall is Popovych?!
The Dutch stop sprinting and he lets Cavendish in front
Good win for Cavendish and podium for Van Emden though that we had an unexpected opponent
The second group came after 1 minute and 39 seconds

Are Cavendish in bad shape. Looked like a very close win.
But good and nice to see some screenshots, as you always use. Very nice.
Keep them updates coming

he is something between 60 and 70 fitness points. The finish was close because when Cavendish took the lead from Van Emden he had no energy left in the yellow and red bars, that's why I stopped sprinting with Van Emnden. Probably that happend because of the fast pace that was after the pack was split
