You should go to Volta a Portugal. Martin was 2nd in the U25 classification and ended in top10 if I can call it correctly

Yeah a lot of riders have surprised me. Sutton has been really impressive.

Stage 12
Today is another flat stage and if the breakaway doesn’t make it then it will be a battle of the sprinters. As usual a break got away in the first kilometers of the stage. They worked well together and built up a gap.



As the stage went on the gap kept increasing. It went up to 14 minutes and it was apparent it would be a sprit within the break. Some riders tried to get away and Scheirlinckx was the first to do it. He held a slight gap on the chasing riders.



But he was passed by Boasson Hagen at the sprint finish and the young Norwegian takes a Tour de France win.

Stage 13
Stage 13 is a hilly stage that still has some KOM points for me to pick up. As usual, since I had a good shot at extending me lead even farther I decided to try to get away and go by myself.



When I attacked there was a breakaway group of about 8 with a 3 minute lead. In no time at all, I caught up with them, took some relays, and then left them behind.



I was caught though by the favorites and at the finish line Cadel Evans beat out Frank Schleck but the surprise was Vandevelde who took a brilliant 3rd place.

They were caught and Farrar wasn’t able to put on a good sprint and Boonen won the sprint ahead of Freire and Hushovd.

Stage 15
We head back to the mountains on stage 15 and the plan for the team is still to help Vandevelde win and to help me keep the Polka Dot jersey. A large breakaway group got away in the beginning looking to repeat stage 12.



Valverde wasn’t the leader of the team so he has been the main force leading the peloton through the mountains.



Despite this I decided to attack and I managed to pick up a big gap.



Eventually I caught up to the breakaway group and held on to the back of them for a little while.



Eventually though I left them and tried to go solo but on the final climb I was caught by the leaders and at the finish line Sastre beat out Contador for the win.

As the Polka dots is your main goal I think you should keep posting the KOM leaderboard after every stage.

Stage 16
This mountain stage is 2 large climbs and 2 large descents. On the first climb there was a small group that got a 4 minute gap on the peloton.



I decided to wait until the 2nd climb to go and to try to see if I could pick up a stage win. At the bottom of the 2nd climb I attacked.



I got a gap and unlike previous stages, I didn’t run out of energy. I had rested legs so I spent myself building up a lead. I was being told the gaps throughout the stage. I thought I might have a chance but I kept going. 20 kilometers to go I still have the lead. 10 kilometers to go, I still have the lead. 5 kilometers to go, I still have the lead. A kilometer left and I look back. No one there!



I check back to make sure and I celebrate the victory.



I’m full of emotions. I WON!!!!!

I know I will keep the newspaper that came the next day.
