Why do you always think that when people dope, they dope during their whole career? Just curious.
For example the Contador case. I mean, Fuentes is gone long ago. Chances are he found a new doctor, but pointing at Fuentes to prove (or to accuse if you want) Contador doped during the Tour of 2009 is a bit of nonsense I think.

About those '80 guys, they didn't dope. Well, they did, but they didn't use illegal substances. It simply wasn't illegal, so you can't blame the riders for anything. And so, when the dopingquestion is asked to them, no is the only right answer...

Remember when a while ago I told you I wasn't answering any of your arguments ever again because you constantly spout complete lies?

That post shows you haven't changed. The "wasn't illegal" thing is especially funny

Over and out.

Read please. I didn't say Contador didn't dope during the Tour (which he may well have done), I say it is nonsense to use the Fuentes story to prove he doped in 2009.

And I know for example in the case about Ducrot that he was interviewed by someone and said, yes, I used substances which are considered doping and illegal. The interviewers of course headed "Ducrot admits doping".
But they weren't illegal back then. And that's what I mean. How can we blame cyclists for taking things which were not illegal in the days?

2. Similar data from other riders in the Tour Top 20.

The only other rider giving out values is Basso, and his are normal.

Brad Wiggins has his here.

Interesting to compare the two.

Edited the link now. Wink

So this weeks cycling weekly says that Astana are having difficultly paying for the UCI pro tour license for 2010, the UCI also says that they are "under review".

However if the license is dropped then Contador gets let out of his contract. Simples.

That's exactly why Astana gets money.

Simple 3 way exchange. Astana gets money, Garmin gets Contador, Sky get Wiggins.

done.

Anyone else having a giggle at Astarloza's defence reasons? Really, come up with something slightly more plausable please.

Sure, you can say that EPO peaks after a training session in a hyperbaric environment.... 24 hours after use, but to claim that being caught for using CERA was due to a hyperbaric training session. I mean, come on. How dumb is Astarloza/his lawyer?

Ranks right up there with Rumsas' "The EPO is for my mother in law. She's too hairy" defence.

Ridiculous. What he says has NOTHING to do with exogenous EPO being found in his blood and urine. Basically he's arguing the chewbacca defense.

To the guy who said Vinokourov made a mistake and only doped once in his life:

Witnesses surfaced this week of him meeting with Michele Ferrari in a secluded location in the swiss mountains shortly before the Vuelta.

Team Saxo Bank demands an additional € 13.1 millions from IT Factory CEO, Stein Bagger + his wife (From their house, cars furnitures and such, I guess?).

The deal with IT Factory should have added € 21,3 millions to the team budget, but IT Factory only managed to send € 1,9 million before they were stopped.

Just to further hammer Damsgaard's credibility a bit more, here's his reaction a while ago when Rasmussen had the same blood value variations as Armstrong had this Tour.

Rasmussen did have a blood transfusion during the Tour or followed an EPO cure just before the Tour.

The increase of 3.6% in his hematocrit value and 1,1 gram per deciliter for his hemoglobin value is suspect, physiologically impossible and scientifically impossible to explain in another way than that Rasmussen used doping

Completely different to his "oh that can have many explanations" quote about armstrong.

The difference of course is that Rasmussen doesn't pay his salary.
