Please try it.
TGA file is easier than DDS file to handle for users.
That is why I made the texture with TGA file. just a little fun for customize the game for many users.

that would mean quite a bit of programming, to change the game itself. it's not just a question of changing the extra files.

it would be cool if you could get the screen to play the actual race cycle through the cameras or go from Bike to bike and helicopters

yes, but it would (beside what I said above) make the game far slower.
I won't bore you with the why, but it would be tantamount to having two equal races running on the same PC. slow

Thank you for your comments here.
I might confused some of users of my new ChampsElysees for PCM2 and PCM3
the riders run "not straight " at round 2 and 3.
that is not a bug, but that's an intentional.
in real-TDF, the riders run the shoulder of the road and sometime they run in a zigzag line. that is why I changed the track of the riders. (round 2 & 3)
if you don't like it. you can change the track of the riders to the original one.
just download ChampsElysees.xml file from this link.
https://rapidshare.com/files/49292995/...ML.rar.htm
extract and Place the file in \Pro Cycling Manager 2007\Blocs\Monuments\ChampsElysees folder

Actually, in Champs Elysses in the PS2-game "Tour de France", there's a big screen which really shows the actual race. I never have time to look at it, though - I'm always going for the win

yeah i managed to pick it up in France about 3 years ago for 6 euro, turns out even a year or so after it's release the french had already turned it's back on the game.

It was a really, really bad game.
There's no peloton. You control one rider (which is fun and a good feature), starting in 28th place and then - throughout the stage - you have to move up to the front group by saving energy by being in the other riders' slipstream, drinking water, etc..
The Tour de France consists of c. 8 stages. Only the Champs Elysses looks like real life (as mentioned before), but else than that, it's pure fabrication.
It's an okay concept, but it would have been good if they developers (a bunch of Japanese people) had actually watched a cycling race before making the game.
