Just out of interest are you planning to do anything with the potentials? They just seem completely random at present.

So then any startlists included will take out any selection of added teams from the DB , Am I correct ??

I had a fast look at present ongoing races Post Danmark and the Norwegian Arctic Race. Starting them without a startlist will then not bring in some new great teams you have added. Team Tre-For in the Post for one. A startlist is needed.

The Arctic sees Kittel vs Hushovd vs Kristoff, some sprinting indeed

AND More important "The Tour de Suisse" problem is also seen in the already raced norwegian race...

Tour de Fjords. The DB says max 13 teams Now 20 teams (and you got them all) did race in this.

Tour of Norway had rider problem the mnimun set at 7 and max 8.
Now of the 20 teams that raced ALL had only 6 riders each

Perhaps that could be edited in next.

I'm missing some country flags, instead of team shirts I have pink squares and I have no clothes at all in 3D but. I downloaded that first fix and put the local.cdb where it should be, so do you have any idea what could be the reason for that?

There are so many races that it takes so long to simulate through them, making it feel you're not really playing at all. Entire books can be read while you wait (which might not actually be a bad thing) to go through just one season.

Hello, one question when installing. Will I choose a new empty folder to extract (and put together with the game folder) or the game folder?

I got some issue with this DB.
Let me number them up.

1) You got some cyclist phots that is in you cyclist_photo folder but not connected to the rider. Ex. Loic Vliegen.
I tried a quick one editing your DB and filling in LVliegen in gene_sz_tga_photo. However I failed at the first try.

2) More serious is when I tried out Artic Tour of Norway. I tried riding any of the stages but the game crashed every time.
I have tried many other races and so far they work. My first thought was that t1_articnorway.cds was not a zces file and no cds file was in your DLs. I tried out another race that also only had a cds file. Tour de Vendee, and it worked. However clicking on the little icon on the right of the stage (not know what to call it, something with map) this Vendee-"map" issue a bad cds fileversion.
This was indeed mix of troubles.

3) The flag problem. Romania and Afghanistan doesn´t show up with mini-flags, even if they are present in the folders.

4) Another smaller problem with Romania (and Hungary) is deeper in the DB. Both country have climat for Qatar. Perhaps should be South Europe, since I don´t believe Romania or Hungary have any deserts :-). Perhaps it doesn´t matter, but just the same. When I find any stranged thing that might affect the game I sound off.

5) You mentioned earlier that whatever team is mentioned in that list for the race is something that Career mode doesn´t use.
But doesn´t the number of max teams and min-max riders play a part ??
The DB is based on whatever number used in 2013, and in some cases races are different. Question if career mode then keeps it always at the max number of teams, then some races should be checked. Already you got Tour de Suisse fixed and I got Tour de Limousin (coming up shortly) pumping up it startfield to 18 or 19 teams from 2013 15 teams also Tour de Fjords had 20 teams with max 6 riders in 2014. Tour de Pologne had increased it riders to max 8 this year.Santos Tour Down Under also had some teams with 6 riders (DB says min 7)

If you care about these numbers I will try to find time to check some of the more important races and make them known.

I was abit sad over the crash in Artic of Norway. With or without my lstartlist didn´t matter.
You got many of the small teams and new riders so it would have been fun using them. The stages do look very bad anyhow, all being the same distance and totally wrong. Even for 2013 route.

I think I found myself the solution to the Artic Tour of Norway.
The cdx-file is actually only a pointer to whatever stage you wish to use. When no true and RL stage has been made.

In the 4 stages for Artic they all point to stages that doesn´t exist in your CM_stages. They are called t1_norway xxx, when they should be pointing to t0_norway_01_2013

An example of the first stage the t1_articnorway_01_2013.cdx

You see the t1 should be changed to t0 and then it works.
And also all the distances are more correct for 2013 tour.

A little detective work pays of now and then.

this database is great but I'm experiencing a crash after Campeonato de Portugal (ITT). The game just simply crashes to the Desktop.

I think the young rider potentials are a little off in my opinion. That aspect was much better in your last db. That's a gamebreaker for me. That's a pity because otherwise the db seems to be very good. especially with all the amount of teams.

Yes, this is a big shame... I always re-edit myself the potentials because I think they are one of thwe biggest aspects in the stats, but this time it was a huge work for me...

What is it about their potential that is off that makes it a gamebreaker? Is it too high or too low, or is it unrealistic in your opinion?

If you take a look at it, you'll see. The potentials seems like randomized...
