Nokere koerse:
1. Francesco Chicchi (OPQS)
2. Kris Boeckmans (Vacansoleil)
3. Boy Van Poppel (United Healthcare)
4. André Schulze (CCC Polsat)
5. Michel Kreder (Garmin-Barracuda)
6. Giorgio Brambilla (Leopard-Trek CT)
7. Pieter Vanspeybrouck (Topsport Vlaanderen)
8. Maxime Vantomme (Katusha)
9. Alexander Porsev (Katusha)
10. Baptiste Planckaert (Landbouwkrediet)
Fenn worked incredibly hard in the last 2 km, he kept the pace high all alone.. Démare got stuck in a crash within the last 2 km..

Great work by Omega Pharma - Quick Step and a great sprint by Chicchi.

Woops, didn't know that.. I shouldn't check wikipedia for those things
I already thought it was strange that De Rosa-Ceramica Flaminia would take part in Nokere Koerse
I edited it, thanks
I actually see now that De Rosa-Ceramica Flaminia is called Utensilnord-Named these days I really should follow those smaller teams more!

He's taken Marcato's role.

After the race he said he went to the barbershop yesterday to look good on the podium if he would win.. He was very disappointed and he said that he was too far when the sprint started, and that Chicchi was already too far away when Boeckmans finally came in a good position to sprint..

So Saxo Bank can't even with Tour of Taiwan... that's impressive.
Especially given the story that the organizers had to withdraw an invite to a smaller team, because Saxo Bank out of nowhere had come and requested an invitation.

re: Nokere Koerse, good to see Boy van Poppel finally getting his own chance. Stupid Henrik Redant keeps making him work for Förster and Keough. He should get his own chance more. He is way faster than old man Forster. Redant is such a stupid old-fashioned Belgian who knows nothing of modern cycling

Great with some succes for Team Saxo Bank they have more wins so far this year than BMC Racing Team - who would have thought that before the start of the season?
Jonathan Cantwell having a good season so far.

Wow Saxobank not even in the top 10 on GC. If this is Rhys' plan to keep his team in the WT... he is failing miserably.
Great to see Giacoppo doing so well on GC as well as in the sprints.
