He's been beating the best sprinters for half a year now. What more do people want?

I wish I knew. Farrar gets far worse results against the same sprinters and is apparently considered by a lot of people to be a top sprinter.
I don't get it.

He's American, and is good at following wheels, and has come second to Cavendish a lot in the TdF.

(No one will probably get my reference, because it isn't very good.)

Tiernan Locke is dominating Haut-Var , will be surprised if he doesn't win.

Tiernan-Locke won Haut-Var , i know it is only Haut-Var but that was one impressive performance. It's rare to see someone just being at another level.
1. Tiernan Locke
2. Julien Simon
3. El Fares.
Nice ending.

Yeah he trained really much over the winter on the TT bike.. Seems like it helped. He could be a podium contender in TDF if he is so good on TT now.

Never expected to see Tiernan Locke so well yet. But I think he should let others win now.

I wasn't aware that he is 27 years old. I thought he was no more than 22 or something around there!

Just watched Haut-Var, and damn, Locke is ridiculously stronger than the rest. He doesn't even seem to break a sweat. Impressive.

Great win for Velits at Oman, and a won bet
And all the people wandering why Sagan stole the bonus seconds from Nibali? Well, Velits is a compatriot right-Slovakian united
And he secured the point jersey with it...
And there is no doubt Kittel is the elite sprinter. He and Sagan are far better than Farrar and many more, only Cav and Greipel are bigger league imo.

I can see how people write-off Farrar, but I dont see Sagan as a better sprinter than him. Kittel probably, but not Sagan imo.

Not probably in the pan-flat sprint after 150kms, but with some bumps on the way or the slight uphill sprint he is, at least in the early season, he was beating him a lot in Qatar and Oman and that is not a hilly terrain right?
But Sagan will show you in the future
