Yeah, i know it wasnt meant to sound bad, same with my reply
Btw. Does somebody know how the tommorow profile look, dead flat? I am checking this on "steephill.tv" always and they have the same profile for the first two stages, some mistake apparently.

In general all 5 flat stages are close to pan flat.

Okay, thanks. Only this stage 4 looks more demanding, there peleton could get rid of some sprinters probably.

Yeah, i know about that, just didnt know the profile of second stage. This Oman race is nice, especially the stage you mentioned ( Jabba the Hutt or how it is called).

Even this stage is not very hard except of the heavy wind. The profile looks much harder than it actually is.
Don`t think that sprinters will fall back on these "hills". Even Guadini should be able to stay.

I'm actually watching the highlights from stage 1 as we speak, on Eurosport 2/Eurosport International, with British commentator(s). They're going to show half an hour from every stage, but it will be shown the day after the stage is raced.

Strange, it isn't on Eurosport International here and I read on cyclingtorrents that there wasn't going to be coverage.
Eurosport are coveraging Algarve though, which is fantastic news.

Eurosport 2 should have highlights from the stages the day after,at least that is what steephill.tv says. Also todays stage start was delayed for an hour apparently.

He won it ahead of Cooke and Slagter. Seems to have been a pretty small peloton that came in first, Cavendish was one of those who had to let the peloton go when Liquigas raised the pace on the hilly(!) ending of the stage.

There was an uphill finish, the race it not so flat this year, also on the stage 4 the pure sprinters should be droped. And we know who is the best uphill sprinter in the world

Small groups today.
1. SAGAN Peter LIQUIGAS-CANNONDALE 3h 10' 44" | 2. COOKE Baden GREENEDGE CYCLING TEAM + 00' 00" | 3. SLAGTER Tom Jelte RABOBANK CYCLING TEAM + 00' 00" | 4. GALLOPIN Tony RADIOSHACK-NISSAN + 00' 00" | 5. NAVARDAUSKAS Ramunas GARMIN - BARRACUDA + 00' 00" | 6. BOUHANNI Nacer FDJ-BIGMAT + 00' 00" | 7. SUTTON Christopher SKY PROCYCLING + 00' 00" | 8. FUGLSANG Jakob RADIOSHACK-NISSAN + 00' 00" | 9. CANCELLARA Fabian RADIOSHACK-NISSAN + 00' 04" | 10. GREIPEL André LOTTO-BELISOL TEAM + 00' 04" | ... | 12. RODRIGUEZ OLIVER Joaquin KATUSHA TEAM + 00' 06" | 13. NIBALI Vincenzo LIQUIGAS-CANNONDALE + 00' 09" | 14. VELITS Peter OMEGA PHARMA-QUICK STEP + 00' 09" | 15. CASAR Sandy FDJ-BIGMAT + 00' 13" | ... | 24. CHAVANEL Sylvain OMEGA PHARMA-QUICK STEP + 00' 17" | ... | 47. SCHLECK Andy RADIOSHACK-NISSAN + 00' 39" | 48. VANDE VELDE Christian GARMIN - BARRACUDA + 00' 39" |
Could be an interesting mountain stage now with Fuglsang being a good bet now especially with Schleck helping him eventually.
Also interested how Sagan can perform and also Slagter should do fine there. Last year Visconti also surprised me, so it`s pretty much depending on the form and not the pure climbing ability.
