Tuft and Durbridge could only be beaten by either Cancellara and Martin or Froome and Wiggins

I don't understand a thing from that tweet but I see the word "abandona" so I have an idea about what happened there...

Just as I thought...
EDIT: About Andy, anyway, nice win for Blythe, good to see him having great results again.

Well Andy seemed more or less happy with the ride. You can't expect much more after returning racing after long period without racing anyway ...
Very nice win for Blythe.

That's true for a normal rider. But we all know that Andy wouldn't have give a rat's ass about this race anyway.

Jurgen Roelandts double collarbone fracture. Season ends like it began. Tough on that guy.

PR talk pure and simple.
Improve his condition for WHAT? There's nothing left in the season.
But saying these things looks good

For next season and the rest of the future? A broken pelvis that takes three and a half months to fully heal is a really bad sign, especially as it was residual pain that prolonged his time off the bike. It could mean that the musculature around that area didn't settle back into place properly after the bone reset, and that could be a sign of future issues that could hurt him long term. Building up form now, coming out of the injury, will likely strengthen that region and make it less likely he gets future musculature injuries there.
I don't think Andy said it for PR, I think he said it because his doctors are telling him he needs to get into shape and get his legs working to build up strength.

For that he needs to do physiotherapy, or something even better that his former mentor Riis "invented" for cyclists: Go ski. Nothing beats it for that purpose.
It's PR talk.
