And to give you an idea how close this finish was, here is the photo finish. Greipel is in the middle, Napolitano is on the far side and Van Hummel is the closest to the screen (excuse the quality, it is from the web rip):
And the top 10 on the day (GC is slightly different thanks to bonus sprints):

That looked a cracking sprint
And nice to see Adam Blythe mixing it as well

Petacchi wins stage 1 of the Bayern-Rundfahrt, with Allan Davis in second. Hutarovich third. I can't find any more results than this for the moment.

Wohoo. Micheal Rogers wins 2nd stage in Bayern Rundfahrt. And it wasn't a TT Takes the leader jersey too.

And on top of that Sioutsou/Sivtsov showns signs of life by finishing in the same group.
He was doing extremely bad for my CQ game with 0 points so far

Unlucky, but I think when he came over he knew he was set to do a lot domestique work and have even less freedom than he had at HTC where he had few races for himself. He's been doing great doemstique work though So definitely showed signs of life early on the race and in the middle
On a side note. If the sprint yesterday in Belgium was close, I think we have a contender at Bayern too

I find it a shame. Sivtsov was 10th in Giro last year... I mean he can do so much more

Absolutely, he has the potential but I guess at the point of his career he values getting more money to secure his future and by so going to Sky and being a helper than rather being a leader and getting better results, but being paid considerably less. That's my guess, still shame when good riders waste their potentials.

Sky owning the TT at Bayern. Rogers wins 4secs ahead of Porte.
Great month for Sky. The won 2/2 races ( Romandie, Glava ) so far and look to make it 3 with Bayern and got pretty good results at Giro going as well
