*Facepalm*

EBH was fastest and he went sooo freaking early. This guy has to learn never to go that freaking early in sprints.

But Ahlstrand is the man today Smile

Just to clarify, when I use the Pfft smiley, I'm usually being sarcastic. Wink

Perfect timing is what it was.

How hard can it be?

Glava Tour stage 2:

1. Raymond Kreder (Garmin-Barracuda)
2. Alessandro Petacchi (Lampre-ISD)
3. Tosh van der Sande (Lotto-Belisol Team)
4. Edvald Boasson Hagen (Sky)

Ale-Jet takes the leaders jersy

Glava Tour stage 3:

1. Kruopis
2. Boasson Hagen
3. Ahlstrand
4. Petacchi
5. Cooke

Kruopis was meant to be Cooke's lead out, but he finished it off well himself. Ahlstrand was by far the fastest finisher, and took the leader's jersey back. Boasson Hagen screwed another perfect lead out from Sky, this time launching too early, like he did on the first stage.

Again a great result from Ahlstrand. Hope to see him in a bigger team soon. Smile

We have hit a moose in our bus - all riders and stuff uninjured, front window, some undercarriage destroyed - moose is dead. Not a good day.

Finally impossible becomes possible !

Firsanov attacked with 25km to go ( recent winner of Vuelta a la Comunidad de Madrid by over 2 minutes on Quintana ), but LP Nordhaug, EBH, Clarke and few others chased him back.

EBH and Clarke attacked and caught him on the descent and went straight past him and fought it between them ...

EBH somehow won and takes GC over Pfft Simon Clarke 2nd and LP Nordhaug 3rd ! Smile

In the Ronde van Belgie OPQS and Lotto are keeping the pace high, LMOAR dragging in the break with just under 40km to go. I don't know why OPQS are so heavily involved (though Martin has to be a big favourite for the overall) but Lotto are setting things up for Greipel. 24km remaining, 1 minute gap.

Ronde van Belgie Stage 1 - Greipel beats Napolitano and Van Hummel in a three way photo finish. Napolitano celebrated after he crossed the line.

And to give you an idea how close this finish was, here is the photo finish. Greipel is in the middle, Napolitano is on the far side and Van Hummel is the closest to the screen (excuse the quality, it is from the web rip):

And the top 10 on the day (GC is slightly different thanks to bonus sprints):

Is Stybar rding? Not that it would justify the pace-making for this stage, but i am just curious. Smile
