Yeah same deal here, but it's no biggie, probably had no effect on the race, apart from lachy would have won.

And really, 19 degrees is hot? Down here that's freezing
Also, was going to say this before, with the Aussie races it was 13 degrees. That would be record-breaking, in Summer we'll have a minimum of 16 even in the middle of the night
Well it's November so not fully summer yet, right?
I looked up the climate on accuweather.com and it said about 20 degrees at day, so I reckoned it could be 13 degrees in the morning.
But I'll remember it for next season. It was just a damn cold year in Autralia

Posted the New York Preview just now. Don't worry, that's not a sign I'll race it quickly. I just posted it now instead of tonight for obvious reasons (31th of December). You have enough time to react/sent in tactics. Though tactics won't matter for a lot on this profile, I think. With such a small and turny profile, it'll be going and going until the end, hoping to move to the front, I guess
Interesting race coming up, in other words. Hope to do the race tomorrow afternoon!

Well, someone must be feeling inspired by the Azencross yesterday.

Just a tad
With Vague practically being Van Der Poel, you shouldn't have to mind, though
Though it'll be a different race altogether. Azencross was nice and open. This will be on a very small space. A lot more turns, bends and narrow space to race.

Let's hope they can do something nice then
If not, the cross in Rio might suit them perfectly.
REMINDER: May I also remind you that in the 2nd post of this thread, you will always find the updated rankings of each classification. In the 2nd post of the Game Thread, you can find a link to all race reports, too, if you want to catch up easily.

The rain should really suit the Belgian World Champ, a good result should be possible.
Also, could I, with 3 riders in the game, also get permission for 2 posts p/d? With my chess tournament being finished I won't be away for entire days anymore.

Definitely! I have missed the World Champion sometimes Especially with Cook calling him granddad, he should have the chance to defend himself

We'll have a real life cross later today. That always makes me excited to race a cross here. So expect the first race of the year later today!
Happy New Year to everyone here and let's hope this game is still around in 365 days I guess that's up to me and you!

Unfortunately, New York wasn't the most exciting of races. Let's hope the rest of the American races will bring a bit more tension to the sport!

Very pleased with the result of Vague. Unfortunate that NYC crowd didn't get a more action packed debut race but CX is more than just spectacle and attack, attack.

Hope you liked the race. It was the first rather boring one, but it was on purpose. I wanted to make this game realistic and a CX season with all super exciting races doesn't exist, some races are just not packed with a lot of action
I'm very excited about the next race, as it is the second Coca-Cola Trophy bout! I'll try to post the preview later today.
I wanted to ask, too, if you have any feedback on the game to help it grow? Can be about anything, about the reports, lay-out, speed, length... I want to get everyone participating, so everyone's input matters

Time to mix up the Coca-Cola Trophy in Seattle!
You have until tonight to send in tactics
I'll probably make part of the report already very late this evening or tomorrow morning, so if you don't want your rider to participate, let me know on time, once I've done the race it's too late, especially since now I'm working with a program my brother has written to calculate the time of the riders. Once I've input the result, it's too much bother to restore to a previous classification.
Hope to bring you an exciting race this time, but we'll have to see how it goes Classification crosses always have a certain level of defensive riding in them.

I think it's pretty natural that the input from people reduces itself over time but I do hope that everybody still follows the game. Even if it's just to appreciate the effort you put in here.
Maybe a bit of a reduced speed, which will come next week I think you said, will help since people have more time to react on previews and races.
The reports are just fantastic, you really don't have to worry about their quality at all.

Mustafa Moli has been rather disappointing lately. Mohuti Sow on the other hand finishing 11th. Now that is just awesome from my Botswana rider.

Sow had an excellent run that last race
Can't send in tactics anymore now, race and result are fixed now, I only have to write it down in a report. Should do it a bit later
