That 'cartoon' effect looks like something a 14-year-old girl would put on her instagram photos. There are other ways to enhance the picture without making it look like a sample of 'cool' and 'innovative' instagram effects.

I think the sketch effect looks nice Ian, imo a story is best told like a fantasy tale after all.

I don't like the try-hard realism graphics that modern games produce anyway. That's what real-life is for...

And again, Anyone got any opinions about the HTC One! As i said i'm getting a new phone, and i refuse to get an iPhone or a Galaxy so would like some real opinions and experiences

Get the Nokia Lumia 820/920/822/922(depending on your provider). Incredibly fast, good size(not too big), and runs Windows OS, which works seamlessly since OS8 was released. Mine has been run over by my dad's Suburban, dropped innumerable times, and taken a general beating. And it keeps ticking with nothing more than a few scratches, and I don't have a case. The camera is like 18MP on my 820, and it's (I believe) 21MP on the 920. Also, the picture quality is HD already, so go for it!

Why refusing Galaxy, but getting HTC?

Anyway, HTC One is probably the 2nd best phone right now on the market. Samsung SIV takes it marginally I think.

But yeah, if you have the money, then go for it.

Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX HD! Long battery life, big screen, good camera...etc.

You haven't had experience because no one buys it. Half of them crave Apple products, 49% more don't know it exists, and the other 1% don't buy it because it doesn't have the app choices that Apple/Samsung do.
