I'd advise to kinda stick to the real life calendar. I wouldn't change WT calendar, even though nobody really likes Beijing. Hainan should eb removed for obvious reasons, but I would still race all .HC and just the biggest .1 races. No Lincoln GP, Herald Sun Tour or "GP of a small town nobody nows", imo.
So maybe one of the Basque races, Roma Maxima and Kampionship Vlaanderen, I could agree on.
But that needs some thinning out elsewhere, so if I may suggest, I would get rid of:
- Tour de Gabon
- GP di Lugano
- one pan-flat classic (Fourmies, Brussels, DFV, lots of others to choose from)

Gabon is definitely staying, it was a great race and it's the only african one I've got
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

We wouldn't mind seeing Roma Maxima being swapped with another Italian classic but not essential

I could not disagree more. We already have shit races like Qinghai or Hainan in RL, why should we put up with them in a fantasy game too? IMO adding races from lower categories possibly even to WT is the way to go, since we are not bound by any of the RL restrictions, but can concentrate solely on the profile. Look at say the MG as a good example, with a basis of the classic races, but still a nice mixture.
I'm not on my PC and won't be for another while so I can't make any concrete suggestions as to what to add, but IMO we could scrap these races:
Spoiler WT:
Romandie
San Sebastian
Vattenfall
Beijing
And Eneco -> Tour of Northern Europe?
CT:
Langkawi
Lugano
Indurain and/or Limburg
Turkey
Belgium
Qinghai
A flat end of season classic
Hainan
One of the Italian autumn classics
Of course I realise that not all of those can and will be scrapped, but given that there are so many other interesting (fantasy) races out there, it'd be a shame to stick to the same calendar every year.

I won't comment on Dippo any further, as its ok for me to have different opinions..
But I just wanted to say that usually Ollfardh always says he wants this to be as real-life-alike as possible. That's why teams aren't changed and so on. So I'd like to stick to the RL calender - at least in general. Or, more importantly, I wouldn't like any fantasy races to be part of the calendar. We already have that in ManGame and in ICL.

@Dippo - If you want that kind of fantasy there is the MG or the ICL. I like the realism EPIC brings and would like to stick to that as much as possible. I am for rotating .HC and .1 race for .2 equivalents though just to keep the variety and prevent too many repeat profiles

Right, so calendar decisions:
- Hainan to be removed
- WT will stay intact. Some races like Paris-Tours, California, etc should be WT, but like this it will allow the CT teams to have some special races as well.
- Adding Roma Maxima in the first part and Clasica Primavera in the second part
- Adding Jef Scherens or Kampioenschap Vlaanderen in the third part, couldn't decide which one will give the best action so you guys can vote on it
Secondly, I'm thinking of adding additional requirements for the WT teams for next season. To remain in / promote to the WT, a team must
1) Reach top 20 in 1 of the 4 WT cobbled classics
2) Reach top 10 in 1 of the 6 WT "hilly" classics (San Remo, Gold Race, Fleche, L-B-L, San Sebastian or Lombardia)
3) Finish top 20 in a GT
4) Finish top 10 in Tirreno, Paris-Nice, Dauphiné or Suisse
How does this sound?
And last of all, anyone who wants to stay in EPIC for the next season can say so, anyone leaving can also say so (unfortunately I fear 1 person will be leaving us already )
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

You're talking about kubys right ?
And do all have to confirm, that they're participating next season ?
If so I would like to be the first to confirm then

Quite frankly that sounds horrible.
Firstly i thought San Remo was flat ( ) but then i just disagree. If a team is that high in the rankings that should be enough regardless of how it got there. Just being that high would almost certainly mean a team has done at least two of those conditions already.
You'd also almost instantly exclude a variety of teams that do not have nor cara bout nor value Cobbles (like Euskaltel) and you'd be in danger of eliminating teams from the WT by the end of April.
Also way to bitch slap TDU, Romandie and Beijing which are all still WT races. If you don't want to include them in aything like that then just cut them from the WT and be done with it. Include all races or none.
Basically i think it's a terrible idea, worse than ICL's steals. If a team has earned a WT spot on rankings there is no need for additional conditions.
The only condition i could think of would be to take into account the contribution of EPIC riders on teams with more than 2. For example Europcar are so high up because of their EPIC riders but they cannot keep all of those riders, devaluing the concept slightly (otherwise i'll pop over to Nordisk, sign up 6 23yo EPIC riders and say hello to the WT inside of a season )

I'm not leaving Euskaltel if anyone was in doubt about that

I completely agree with this post by TMM. Couldn't have written it better myself.

I'll stay with MTN. I'm very pleased with the squad, and I hope I'll be able to keep it for next season.
