Ok, caught up with where I left. All teams should have their countergoals. Just in case it wasn't clear, your own goals and my counter goals will give you equal points, so try to get all 6.
For the teams that haven't made a HQ, posted their goals, or sent in wildcards applications, try to get it done this week. Young riders will most likely be opened up tomorrow. Wildcards round 1 will be closed tomorrow. And if you let me wait too long with your goals, I may get ... evil.

TMM style?
My goals will come in the next 30 minutes ... wildcards too...
Yes, there's two aspects. First you have the points for the ranking, which decided who wins the season, who gets promoted, who gets demoted, etc. Secondly, you have the advancement points, which are tied to the team goals, amongst other things.
So if you achieve a goal, you will get points to improve your rider. If you get a good result (goal or not), you will earn points for the ranking.
PM's sent to ex-UCPCL members, hoping to get a few more interested!
While I have some spare time, I'd like to bring up some other stuff. First of all, let me stress that no one is forced to do anything, this is a game and it should be fun. However, if I can get a few people to help me out, things will go smoother, faster and there will hopefully be no burnouts
So, I could use help with:
- The database, Atlantius has kindly volunteered to help out with this.
- Race reporters, I underlined it because this will be the main problem. If you want to report one or several races, let me know in a PM so I can put up a schedule.
- Other tasks. This is the work you don't need PCM for, just check the forum. Keeping track of race days, startlists, updating the rankings, etc. Basicly I can do all this myself, but if I can give away a few parts, it would make my job a lot easier.
I can help out with the DB a little bit if needed, and of course will follow the forum area closely regardless. Not going to race report though, will be busy with Roule Britannia and the WSC in that area
For the wildcards, I'm setting the deadline to tomorrow. I'm missing PMs from Argos, Astana, Katusha, Orica, Saxo and Champion Systems. It's not dramatic, as there will be later rounds, but it will decrease your chances of joining race you like.
In case there aren't many more people interested, i'd have a suggestion: Get rid of the Pro Conti Tour and make the Pro Conti Teams with Managers World Tour. Vacansoleil and Lampre could fold (a bit like IRL), and the new WT teams could pick up some of there riders. You could make the most popular races races every Team has to enter, but that gives less points than "normal" WT races, and shelve the others, alongside the other Pro Conti Teams, for a possible season 2.
Wow, that turned out to be a massive wall of text. (At least thats what it lokes like on my mobile)
Obviously thats just my thoughts, but it might make it easier for you to run, and there would be a smaller chance of having too many inactive managers too.

Yeah, I'll have mine done this evening, just been caught up with work this past couple of evenings

Edit:
And it turns out to be not so huge at all
or more or less random teams could be selected and the teams could remain open for late sign-ups.
At this point I count it to 23 teams (incl. control team) which is close to the theoretical limit for PCM.
On top of that I predict extremely hard seasons for the likes of Champion System and UnitedHealthcare if they always have to compete with a full field of WT-teams.

Well, if they divide up the Lampre & Vacansoleil riders, it might be a bit easier, though they would probably still be on a lower level. Possibly they could also take up the best free agents, like frank schleck. (though i'm not sure how many wt-level riders there are).
It's pretty much like Atlantius said, I'm keeoing manager applications open throughout the season. I also don't want the CT managers to face world class each race.
