Picking a PCT team will allow you too sign 6 customer riders so any could be strong with right signings

The Belgian teams aren't that bad. Also, using Novo Nordisk would just be awesome
Note:
Teams of low quality will also have goals of low quality. So it's not harder with a bad team

Yeah I might pick Topsport Vlaanderen or Team Novo Nordisk.
If I may ask, what makes them awesome? lol
I don´t know a lot about them

They're just by far the worst team and don't deserve to be in PCT at all level-wise
Would just be fun if someone picks them and get them to WT with custom riders & good planning

Aha
But that would take more than one season wouldn´t it?
Will this game run that long? That would be epic

Well, some custom riders can surely boost the team
And with reporting about your team in the HQ, and achieving your goals, you can let your riders develop as well.
And it all depends on Ollfardh. And of course the (amount of) reporters available. Game runs at decent speed atm(except for a few races), so there's some pace. But when there wouldn't be (a lot of) reporters left, this game would slowly bleed dead
But that's not the case at all atm

I understand, but with regards to promotion I know it´s next to impossible to beat the likes of say, Europcar

Yeah, of course, Europcar is unbeatable
But second season would be better.
Plus, it's all about fun of course, just choose the team you like best

After thinking about it (and checking the db) I´ve chosen for Champion Systems. (really gutted that I´m too late for Astana and Katusha )
Definitely hoping to sign some free agent custom riders, so if you have one and want him to be the absolute leader of my team here´s your chance.

Nice choice!
There's even a couple of decent Asians without a team at the moment.
This post should give you a good overlook of who you can approach: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....ost_850806 (a couple of them have been signed already though)

@Oldfart (loving the new name guys)
Will it be possible to change teams, as a manager, at the end of the season? FDJ's fun and stuff but i'd have more fun and put more time into a Conti team. Obviously at the end of the season (i won't just abandon the custom riders). Thoughts?

Sounds like a good idea, Oldfart will probably find a way to intergrate it with team goals

Yeah, sounds smart. This should also allow that the World Tour teams will remain with managers (when their managers quit), since PCT managers can be promoted/offered a job to them, in theory.
Sticking to FDJ is by the way quite nice. Since custom riders have a one-year deal, they will also have enough time to think about future steps. Go with their current manager to a PCT team, sign with FDJ again or go somewhere else.
