I was wondering,
If a custom rider doesn't do anything(member being totally inactive), is there a possibility the rider will get downgraded? Otherwise we might have the custom riders overpowering the game, even when a member goes completely inactive
I would rather say that in this situation his agent or the game manager demands the cancellation of the contract.

But that would be a major blow for the manager of the team...
I prefer stats decreasing, f.e. -1 stat for every 2 inactive months(for example, just making up some numbers)

That sounds fair. With the condition that the inactive manager will receive a warning (PM< message on the HQ).
Btw, how much does the EPIC calendar will take in real life ? How long it will be ?

Would be a good idea, not active = bad form = drop in stats maybe

Yeah, that sounds very fair to me. I'm really interested in the stat matrix of the DB though. Because if they keep it the way it was, f.e. an 80 cobbles rider could realistically win P-R, whereas if they give the best riders stats around 85/84 that sort of a rider would struggle to finish top 5.

I am curious about that too.
I hope they will keep the balance like in the official DB, where there are very few stats over 82, for example.
I will repet myself, but how much does the EPIC calendar will take in real life ? How long it will be ?

I think the balance will be comparable to the PCMdaily Realname DB, a little bit higher than the official. HI stats are a bit lower, mostly though.
And we don't know how fast the season will take, I guess we'll try to do it fast.

Well, if the season goes at the same rate as UCPCL, it will take about 3 years before we reach the Tour

Well, the UCPCL (old game) stopped after about 10 months, and we haven't even reached the Giro. But I hope this one can go further!

Really it mainly depends on how fast reporters are to start a new race when time is.
Here I'd say it look like we have more reporters so if people think a little ahead and start preparing the reports/racing before the previous race ends.

And the UCPCL got further than any other game before it! And by some distance as well, when you add in all the CT races that were run.

We're gonna be here for like 20 years, don't worry!
In other news, 2013 Tropicale Amissa Bongo is confirmed to be in the upcoming database! It should happen later this week, so I'm going to tie up some loose ends today and hopefully we can start soon!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Which means all flat stages?
Edit: Found the profiles: https://www.procyclingstats.com/race.p...?id=117465
A lot of very small hills seems to be the recipe he.

I'll be posting racing schedules in the teams HQ today. I suggest everyone starts working on their startlists. Especially Gabon, San Luis and Tour Down Under!

Wildcards are finished, was expecting a few more to be honest, but I have enough non-managed teams to cover. In the end, most applications got accepted, with the exception of a few totaly unmotivated ones in a popular race. All WT races have 24 teams, the CT races 18-20. I'll post the races in your HQ this afternoon.
You can start working on your startlist, though I can understand some people prefer to wait until the database release to see the final stats. Assuming we get the database this week, and depending on how long Atlantius needs to work, I'm hoping to get Gabon going this weekend at the lastest.

I sure hope the season can start this week Ollfardh. I really appreciate how much effort you're putting into this.

Hi Ollfardh, could you possibly put up a list of all teams entering the Conti races and who got the wildcards for part 1?

Just a thanks for Ollfardh for posting the calendar for all the teams (quite a work) and keeping up this thread (to not search him in the second page ).

That would be ... inconvenient.
