Right, first round of wildcards is over. The good news is, most people got most of their wildcards. But a few are "on hold", meaning the UCI wasn't fully convinced by your motivation for them (yet). This only happened for races where there were a lot of good applications and spots were hard to get.
For wildcard round 2, the WT teams get a chance to remotivate their applications currently on hold, as well as sending up to 5 new ones. Remember, you are responsible for your own race days though.
The CT teams in wildcard round two can apply for any other CT race they want to ride, as well for any WT race they also want to ride, and/or remotivate the earlier ones. As a reminder, we're also taking applications for the Giro, Tour and Vuelta now, even though they're not in the first part of the season. Again, don't go all out on racedays yet.
Applications on hold:
TDU: NetApp
Omloop: Radioshack - Saxo
Kuurne: Radioshack
Strade: Garmin - Orica - SAxo
Paris-Nice: NetApp
Tirreno: MTN - NetApp
San Remo: NetApp
Catalunya: NetApp
Dwars Door Vlaanderen: Radioshack
Criterium: Movistar - Orica - Sky
Vuelta: Cofidis - MTN

So CT teams still can only request continental races for part 1?

No, CT teams can also apply for WT races for part 1, as well as for the 3 GT's. So you can basicaly apply for everything now

By the way, for the new teams (Lampre, Europecar, etc) that missed wildcard round 1, feel free to send in the two rounds at once.

Will the squads be those as of january 1st? E.g. Garmin with Hunter and Klier but without Rasmussen?

That will depend on the databasemakers. I'll most likely follow their lead

Ollfardh, when is the limit for the second wildcard round?
We(Luigleyh ) will probably do both rounds tomorrow or saturday, is that okay?

I've already sent my applications the first round. Do I have to send the second round too, or is it okay now?
