I'd continue it regularly, but if you wish to skip to the more important races, feel free to do so!

Vuelta Ciclistica a Burgos stage 2
Today's profile is not very demanding but the finish is uphill. We can't expect a pure sprinter to take home the bacon.
Castroviejo was feeling good today. He tried to get to BOD. But it looked like it wasn't meant to be for him.
As soon as he attacked pack woke up and chased him like he is GC leader.
After 50kms of hard work 4 riders eventuely got away.
Garmin was in front of the pack second part of the race.
Then something happend. It seemed like every single GC rider attacked atleast once.
Cobo wanted to go with them but DS calmed him down and said that until we have teammates that can chase he won't go anywhere.
The original BOD was riding in their own pace. Which was quite high.
It turned out to be too high for two of them. And with less then 10kms to go only 2 of them where in front.
We had most riders in front so we were preatty calm.
With only 5kms to go DS sent to front best chaser I had ever the honor to ride with. You already know who it is. Quintana throw him self in to the decent. And had only one thing on his mind. Chase down those two.
With 3,5kms to go and Quintana nearly empty Dany Pate found something in his helmet and attacked.
We made quite a good train. With me on the wheel of Ruiz. Cobo was perfectly placed on my wheel.
I don't know how but we somehow managed to get to front of the pack. I was giving Cobo a perfect leadout.
Katusha tried to do the same but they couldn't broke away from the pack.
Only one rider was in front of us. He had 15 seconds on us but we where coming fast. There is also that small hill at the end that can turn out to be decisive.
Under one kilometer banner I was empty. I wished Juan good luck and got back to the pack.
Juan was giving everything he got.
But will it be enough?
YES! He won!
I don't understand how he briged a gap like that.
I ended on a 32th place but that's not important.

Vuelta Ciclistica a Burgos TTTstage 3
Our plan for today was to gain some time on Katusha and not to loose too much time on Omega Pharma Quickstep which were huge favourites for today.
We started strong and we were provisonal 3rd on the first checkpoint.
In the end Omega was without a doubt fastest today.
Our young rider did great job at the finish as he came first from our team. I have to say without him we wouldn't get such fantastic result just look
1 | Omega Pharma-QuickStep | 14'34 | 2 | Movistar Team | + 19 | 3 | Sky ProCycling | s.t. | 4 | Ag2r La Mondiale | + 39 | 5 | Rabobank Cycling Team | s.t. | 6 | Team Saxo Bank-Tinkoff Bank | + 44 | 7 | Lotto Belisol Team | s.t. | 8 | Garmin - Sharp | + 55 | 9 | Astana Pro Team | s.t. | 10 | Saur - Sojasun | + 1'05 | 11 | Katusha Team | s.t. | 12 | AndalucÃa | + 1'08 | 13 | Euskaltel - Euskadi | s.t. | 14 | Burgos BH - Castilla y León | + 1'09 | 15 | Caja Rural | s.t. | 16 | Orbea Continental | + 1'25 |
We came on a briliant 2nd place! And what's more Katusha came 46 seconds behind us!
GC:
1 | Juan José Cobo Acebo | Movistar Team | 7h39'55 | 2 | Dario Cataldo | Omega Pharma-QuickStep | + 35 | 3 | Alexandr Viktorovich Kolobnev | Katusha Team | + 45 | 4 | Fabian Wegmann | Garmin - Sharp | + 51 | 5 | Nicki Sørensen | Team Saxo Bank-Tinkoff Bank | + 53 | 6 | Geraint Howell Thomas | Sky ProCycling | + 55 | 7 | Karl Thomas Henry Lövkvist | Sky ProCycling | s.t. | 8 | Enrico Gasparotto | Astana Pro Team | + 59 | 9 | Wilco Kelderman | Rabobank Cycling Team | + 1'14 | 10 | Dries Devenyns | Omega Pharma-QuickStep | + 1'17 | . | . | 22 | Rui Alberto Faria Costa | Movistar Team | + 2'36 |
Juan is GC leader. With only 2 stages left I will do my best to help him win it. He came 3rd last year.
That's all from Spain for now.
Seeya later
Rui
