Is it true in the Netherlands you pour water on your tennis courts to make ice rinks?

We also do it just on the countryside, we just pour water on them and wait for them to freeze. I don't know how that goes for the rest of the country, but it happens quite a lot here in Fryslan

here we have a soccer field were we remove the goals and pomp a crap load of water in it, then we wait for the winter to freeze it and we have a huge Ice lake of sorts
