Well, cio won't be happy with that luck.
Hah, long story.
I was at my sister's, so I was relying on the TV feed and couldn't multi-tab livestreams.
The broadcasting channel previewed the evening schedule saying ski jumping would be live and highlights from the luge in between rounds.
Then they just showed the first few jumpers and switched to luge, obviously because Loch was about to take gold. A fact that was known since yesterday, so why would you need to make a quick decision?
Okay, they showed the luge, but that finished in time to theoretically show the last 15 jumpers.
For some reason, they decided to show the national news first (a 15-minute show!). After that, you could've still caught the last 5 live, but then they first showed the victory ceremony before making a quick 5-minute highlight reel from the first round...
So all the time I could only follow the ticker, and even that was hardly updated live.
We pay TV licence for that!!
And yep, Freund sucked. But it's the Olympics, Germans always suck at the big events.

Stoch is in another level, will be hard to fight him in the large hill. I hope though for a Kasai medal in the large hill next week.

Oh well... Hayböck missed the crucial take-off for about 2 meters and still got 5th, Diethard not really in the 4-Hills Tournament form but still a nice 4th place. Shame they didn't get a medal. Schlierenzauer's second jump was decent but boy, did he look sad in the interview. Really disappointed and I hope he can get his gold medal on the large hill. Morgenstern seems to come into form for the large hill at least. Meh...
Stoch with a great second jump but also way better conditions than previously Prevc and Bardal. Nonetheless, two amazing jumps from him and the more than deserved olympic gold medal winner.
At least no Austrians.

Cio is king of nationalism on Daily.
With that in mind, i am not happy at all with Kuzmina gerabbing gold for Slovakia. She speaks russian 99% of the time, she is not a Slovakian athlete, she can stay in Russia if it was on me.
Her first words to the camera? I love you, in russian language.Pfff
At least Sablikova made me happy on the track. No chance against Wust, be she can grab cold on 5000m i think.

Pff I'm not nationalistic. I just hate Austrians from October until March if they wear a bib number.

Well Austrians are not a factor in summer sports and football, so it's rather easy to avoid exposure to them there
