This will be the first for our sprinter team. The spotlight is on Calzone.

It seems I under estimated the sprinting field here. Even so I am happy Sonny Colbrelli is our best choice for this type of race, as he can handle the hills, which is more important than pure sprinting here, as we saw last year

Androni hoping for attacking riding and a good GC from Cervero.
Martinez Machado will see what he can do!

So if Sky don't win this is poor race, if they don't podium it's a complete failure! First outings for Wesenbach, Martnez, Bernard and Kaha, will be interesting to see how ther stats work out.

Amazing preview, nice for Carlos to be GC leader in his first race in the pro ranks #excitement

I can just agree with what has been said so far, that really is a great preview
I hoped that the startlist wouldn't be that strong, seems I was wrong. Still I'm hoping that Carlos can possibly do something here with a good combination of hill and sprint.

Indeed a great preview of a strong field that outclass the Cofidis guys so anything at all from this race will be a bonus.
Just happy to be at the start line

@Atlantius : Remember to change the sta_race_rules this time, so the reporter won't have to edit the database every time they report a race

Thanks guys, much appreciated. I also was a bit surprised with the strength of the startlist here.
@Silvio Favourites are based on main stats and secondary stats. I decided to only show the main stats though.
Hopefully the DB is almost ready.

Now this might make me a wee bit unpopular, but the PCM14 DB seems to be finished and available for download the usual place...
