These announcements are hilarious. Baugnies, Petrovski and Sterbini look like true specialists. They'll certainly show up when needed. You've invested in quite some talents as well. That'll no doubt pay up later on.

The last rider on our roster has joined our team earlier this weekend, and we're glad to say we were able to add another regional talent to our team.
| Alejandro Osorio | 1.00 | 22y/o | €80.000 |
Fl | Mo | Hi | TT | St | Rs | Rc | Co | Sp | Ac | Fi | Dh | Pr | 66 | 68 | 67 | 65 | 66 | 65 | 65 | 55 | 56 | 65 | 61 | 63 | 61 | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | | 69 | 77 | 72 | 72 | 73 | 72 | 74 | 55 | 56 | 68 | 62 | 64 | 67 |
Alex will not be a GC winner himself, but definitely an interesting addition to our GC squad. He will be there in the mountains and will also know what to in the hills and during team time trials. In comparison to most of our team his back up stats will be simply amazing, although it has to be said there are harder things to achieve in life. Nevertheless we are very happy with the signing of our young Colombian, and hope to develop him into a solid addition to our team.
Thanks for reading the short update. Alex is the last Free Agent addition to our squad, but two stags and two draft riders still have to follow. Our next update will also be our final update, completing our roster after a transfer window where I hope I learned enough to not make the same mistakes next year. I would also like to thank Scorchio, redordead and jandal again for explaining me some game mechanics more in detail. Same thing goes for the_hoyle, who has made my NC jerseys. Thank you all!

That's a very nice regional pickup for the future on such a wage, look forward to him becoming a team mainstay for years to come

¡Uno, dos, tres y cuatro! With two draft riders and two stagiaires coming in, our team has welcomed its last members of this years' roster. They will be presented in this post, with the whole roster coming here as well in one of the next days.
| Samuel Coronel | 4.100 | 30y/o | €0 |
Fl | Mo | Hi | TT | St | Rs | Rc | Co | Sp | Ac | Fi | Dh | Pr | 71 | 67 | 68 | 62 | 71 | 70 | 69 | 73 | 69 | 70 | 70 | 70 | 61 |
Our first draft pick was the Paraguayan national champion, Samuel Coronel. Sami was part of NENT Racing last season, and even managed to win the Lincoln GP. Despite this beautiful win, he was relentlessly ditched by his manager, who believed Coronel would be of no use in the PCT. Samuel had a very hard time because of this, and was close to leaving the peloton after the heartbreak caused by the manager who shall not be named. However, after trying to convince him for weeks with paychecks higher than the one of Baugnies, he finally decided to join us for free after telling him our team colors are red and yellow, therefore ensuring him he won't be riding in a white jersey (which he told us he hates). However, as he is an NC and the_hoyle has provided us with another five beautiful jerseys, he will be riding in the one shown below. We would hereby like to apologize to Samuel, and hope he understands the situation. | Andre Alexander Gonzales | 1.00 | 22y/o | €0 |
Fl | Mo | Hi | TT | St | Rs | Rc | Co | Sp | Ac | Fi | Dh | Pr | 65 | 66 | 67 | 62 | 66 | 66 | 66 | 61 | 63 | 66 | 65 | 66 | 60 | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | ↓↓↓ | | 66 | 75 | 75 | 63 | 69 | 71 | 73 | 61 | 63 | 73 | 74 | 67 | 61 |
Peruvian number three! We decided to go for another regional talent, even though he's not the biggest talent on the market at all. Guess that also explains why nobody wanted him, not even as a stagiaire. Nevertheless, the Zoom meetings we had with Andre Alexander were pleasant, and we also wanted to make sure the amateur teams stood no chance against us at the Peruvian championships in a year. There are of course several paths A.A. could take regarding his development, but the one showcased above might be the best choice.
| Diego Andres Camargo | 1.00 | 22y/o | €10.0000 |
Fl | Mo | Hi | TT | St | Rs | Rc | Co | Sp | Ac | Fi | Dh | Pr | 66 | 68 | 66 | 63 | 67 | 66 | 66 | 55 | 56 | 65 | 56 | 55 | 63 |
| Vitalii Novakowskyi | 1.00 | 23y/o | €10.000 |
Fl | Mo | Hi | TT | St | Rs | Rc | Co | Sp | Ac | Fi | Dh | Pr | 68 | 65 | 67 | 65 | 66 | 67 | 64 | 62 | 64 | 66 | 67 | 65 | 65 |
Our two stagiaires were definitely not our first picks and will have to prove themself in the Avenir and 15 RD's they get to get another contract next year. Camargo is pot. 4, Novak pot. 5. We got outbid on several stagiaires, making us go for a Ukrainian stagiaire. To make it very clear, Ukraine is not the Costa Rica of Eastern Europe. It actually is the Peru of Eastern Europe, making Novakowskyi our fourth rider at the Peruvian championships at the end of the season. We would like to thank the MGUCI for making this possible.
That's it for now. Thanks for reading, and as mentioned above a picture of our full roster as well as our objectives and some other stuff will come soon.

Coronel is a fantastic pick up to help out Baugnies

Here it is, the 2020 roster of Los Pollos Hermanos! As written earlier, Hayter is a loan-in, while our rider Daniel Munoz will be riding for cycleYorkshire this year.

Baugnies is definitely a great signing - but with the amount of cobbled races available, I don't know if he'll justify his wage.
Marquez is a cool climber, but I hope Seboka won't stand in his way. And sprinter-wise, I'll definitely be following Guillén very closely, but I wouldn't be surprised if Manarelli did better due to better backup stats.
Sterbini and Bru are lone leaders on their terrains - but you'll be competitive in every race, which is definitely great! (and can't be said of my team...)

Ah Baugnies, my old Nemesis! Let's hope he doesn't ride too many C1 races
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

The lack of support riders across all terrains could hurt, but i like the ambition. It's a team that could finish Top3 or 20th, and that'll be fascinating to watch all season.

Contrary to popular belief, Coronel was given a new contract offer, however he had too high thoughts of himself to take 50k. Happy to see him find a new home with your team tho!

A lot of red figures for a CT team, and it has nothing to do with the frying activities of your sponsor. Way to go, Nemo! Excited to meet you in those races we both attend and very interested to see how our two newbie teams relate to each other

@Fabianski: Yeah, i also hope that Seboka's 80 mountain doesn't interfere too much with Marquez' possible GC ambitions... I don't know if Bru is worthy of the "leader" etiquette though, if he manages to be top 10 in at least 1 hilly stage he would aready exceed any expectations
@Olifardh: Don't take it personal if he does
@TheManxMissile: I don't see myself as a promotion contender or anything close, but it would be nice to grab a win here and there. Also, hopefully I finish in the top 19
@whitejersey: Yeah Coronel seems like a special guy, would be nice for him to pull another stunt like he did for you in the Lincoln GP last year. Let's hope he thinks a little bit less of himself at the end of the season and is more inclining to accept a 50k offer
@Guave: Red figures on downhill might not be the most popular ones, so I guess the colour is quite meaningless Also excited to race against you!

As said before, Baugnies and Marquez is a great duo of leaders, the quality behind might be questionable outside of Petrovski, Coronel and Sterbini for me (hopefully at least one of the sprint duo does well ) but I love that the trade-off isn't for crappy domestiques but for a huge talent core and many from South America, plus the very good Hayter who I didn't see you had picked up Good luck this year
And to the discussion above, if we're going off of red stats you have triple the amount I do, so instant promotion then top half in the PCT with the same team is on the cards clearly

Soon the cycling season will start, and our team will hopefully shine in the three races they take part in coming January. The boys have beent sent to two mandatory C2HC classics, as well as one C2 stage race.
The first race of the season will be the hilly GP Yekaterinenburg in Russia. We only have one rider who is not absolutely worthless in the hilly races, being Fulgencio Bru. Nevertheless we are expecting nothing from him in those races and are using the mandatory hilly races to develop our talents and maybe let them get some screen time in the break of the day.
This is an interesting one. The stage race of ten days (only showing the last five here as they should be the most important ones for the GC) in Venezuela, being in our focus regions, consists of 4 flat stages, 2 hilly ones, 3 mountain stages and also an MTT. For the mountains the team will be led by Marquez and national champion Seboka, with another national champion Petrovski hopefully able to perform as a strong domestique or looking for glory in a breakaway himself. Fulgencio Bru has will join the team and hopefully get a decent result in the two hilly stages, as we hope the stronger hilly riders in the division won't be sent to Venezuela. Manarelli will be our man for the sprint, with Quicibal performing as his lead-out.
At the last day of the Vuelta al Tachira the other half of our roster will be present at the other side of the world in the Great Ocean Road Classic. Our Costa Rican sprinter Guillén, who finished the race in fifth place as part of Centovalli - Fiat last year, can try to do the same thing for us now. He will have an interesting lead out, including Baugnies, Quispe and Hayter.
That's it for today, thanks for reading. Looking forward to the first races of the season, even though we'll probably finish last in our first race ever in Yekaterinenburg

Only january and we meet three times already! Three different terrains as well and not one cobbled race. I'd better make the best out of this month, because when cobbled terrain approaches, my chances are second to none. Vuelta al Tachira probably will be more suited for your squad nevertheless. I'll be following Marquez and Seboka with a close eye!
