Well, you can see the land behind
Gameplay:
Gilbert broke away on the Pompeiana, managed to hold on with a small gap. Sagan 2, Valverde 3, Hagen 4, Costa 5

Have realised this as well. Obviously had worse weather the first time I played.
Will make a fix later.

Well, my test was dumb. Breakway get's away, I as Cannondale make rythm all the race. Then the climbs start. A couple of rider's try to attack but nothing more. Then on the last climb, I attack with Sagan to get responded by... Kristoff and Cavendish. I put Sagan on 99 effort downhill but his downhill is way too low in the FCDB (only 72) so his gap is about 10 seconds as we enter the last 3km's. Kristoff and Cavendish dragged the pack with them so it's a caothic sprint to the line. Roelands innicaites his sprint with Cancellara in his wheels and when he leaves his splipstream it was an easy win. Paolini 2nd and Degenkolb 3rd. My Sagan only finished... in a very notourious 21st place. All of this on Hard.

Please make the fix an alternate version. I prefer the one not lagging at all where you see the land over a beautiful race which laggs like crazy
Anyway, won't this race being classified as flat screw with the gameplay sometimes? Though the tests so far proved to be fairly correct.

Milano - Sanremo 2014
290.00 km - Download
This one is a little bit fixed.
The sea is further outside and so you shouldn`t see the border like in the first "less graphical" version.
Still no guarantee that you never see it. I just tested in the stage viewer using the fog.
The one on page 1 still is the even less graphical version.
@tpinot: Unfortunately not as I used the PCM13 editor. But you could download the PCM12 version of my MSR 2011 version in the stage db.
There you just need to add this last hill, I think the roads are even there, you just need to go back a bit with the route and add this one.

No.
I just started and am in the middle of my University exams. So I won`t be able to work on it every day.
Stage 1 though should be up later today.

Preview Stage 2:
The stage is hilly rated! The climbs are quite tough but not long enough for a mountain stage I guess. Definitely the stage to win the tour next to the time trial.
I finished the profile work but still have to add all graphics.

I always enjoy stages like that - long-ish final climb, but still hilly. Mont Faron, for instance. Glad to see the race organisers have decided to add a selective stage like that - should mean that the TT wont necessarily sort out who wins the overall
Will definitely use this instead of the old Bayern route

The Mont Faron is quite steep though, it's won by out and out mountain climbers

Bayern - Rundfahrt 2014, Stage 3
Grassau - Neusäß, 232.00 km - Download
Leaving the Alps with the longest stage of the race. That said everything but easy. In especially the hilly circuit in the end with an uphill finish can make some damage. Still flat rated though and might be a perfect stage for a puncheur/sprinter mix.
@Pelli: Agree to IssoIsso here. Sure the climb is much better than previous versions, but it`s far off the Mt Faron for example. Time gaps will surely happen but it won`t hurt the lower puncheurs as much as steeper climbs.

Much faster than expected the race is finished.
All stages can be found in the Stage DB or in my first post.
Enjoy!
Bayern - Rundfahrt 2014, Stage 4
Wassertrüdingen ITT, 25.00 km - Download
Shorter ITT than before. So the hilly stage could become more important.
Bayern - Rundfahrt 2014, Stage 5
Wassertrüdingen - Nürnberg, 159.00 km - Download
Final stage ending with a 7-lap circuit in Nürnberg.
(I reduced the actual 10x5,5km laps to 7x8km to avoid the short circuit problem.
