Suggestions: New Riders for ManGame
Avin Wargunnson
Cmon guys, there are like hundred of spelling mistakes in the database, mainly in east europe and we all know who that person is,i think that correcting it is useless job with no benefits.

I'll be back

SotD
I don't really care to be honest. I always copy the name directly from the database to avoid misshaps. And considering the fact that you can only have so many offers active, then it's really not all that difficult and time consuming.

To add to Willie Smit:

His doing his first year as a pro and his first time racing internationally. His first race was the Gran Premio Degli Estruchi (1.1) where he finished 40th. He went onto the Dubai Tour where he finished 118th, but he was in the break on stages 2 and 3 (hilly one). He won the hotspot sprints intermediate sprints jersey as a result. Also, on stage 3 he was the only one able to keep up with Piluschin on the climbs, but was dropped with 15km to go. I'd suggest putting him on 5 potential and level 2xp.
Stats on level 2:
FL 70; MO 64; HIL 71/72; TT 70; PRL 68; FTR 74; STA 69; RES 68; REC 67; SPR 63; ACC 68.
-Or anything to that extent. Just look at the stats in comparison to each other to see where his strengths lie. He's pretty much an all rounder and strong guy. Climbs well on shorter climbs, strong on flats and is a decent TTer. He also seems to love breakaways and rides very aggressively.

He's already in the db anyway

How about the two Belarussians at Sky?
I'm talking about Vasil Kiryenka and Kanstantsin Siutsou. Everyone should know them from the cycling world of PCM. Smile
I might have missed them in the database, but there are no Belarussians called Kiryenka or Siutsou. Smile

I add two riders aswell if it´s not to late, unfortunately I could not find much results from them.

Kim Magnusson 31/8/1992
https://www.cqrank...erid=18687
Riding for Vini Fantini - Nippo, no big results yet. First race with the pros in GP Costa degli Etruschi earlier this month where he came 42th. Don´t really now his style but I Think he will be focus on hills.

Erik Nyqvist 26/5/1993
https://www.cqrank...erid=20849
Riding for Team Ringeriks-Kraft in 2014.(With the big talent Marcus FÃ¥glum Karlsson Whos already posted here).
Best result is 14th Hadeland GP against riders like, Huub Dyun, Tom Skujins, Fredrik Ludvigsson, Jesper Hansen, Sondre Holst Enger.

Well I've done some research on nations that I feel could be better represented and I've come up with some names. I don't feel like any of these would be super talents but still good to give some riders from less-used countries some good potential. Also I haven't checked earlier in this thread to see if these people have been mentioned so I apologise if they have.

Joao Gaspar - 19/2/1992 - Climber

At the age of 21, Gaspar won the queen mountain stage of the 2.2 Tour of Brazil and he came in 3rd overall. He showed some top ten results on hilly stages and in the hilly time trial, so he is definitely a well-rounded climber who can climb at any length. I'd probably get him to 76 or so mountain and around 75 hill as a max.

Ryan Gibbons - 13/8/1994 - Puncheur
Gibbons hasn't done a lot in his career so far, but he rode with MTN last year. He was 2nd in the recent U23 South African championship behind Meintjes. As a junior he had a few good results (nothing spectacular though) and it seems that he was a rather good marathon/off road rider. Maybe 74 max hill with good support stats.

Sergio Daniel Godoy - 7/7/1988 - Climber
Godoy is a bit older than most of the others who are likely to be added but coming from Argentina, I feel that it would be okay to add some older riders as there currently aren't many from there. He was 3rd overall at the recent Tour de San Luis and he was 2nd place on both of the major mountain stages, so he is a strong climber. Of course he is probably a doper and he hasn't shown anything else in his career, so don't overestimate him based on that result but he should still be added as a good domestique.

Lucas Manuel Gaday - 20/2/1993 - Climber
He hasn't shown a lot but it is really hard to find young Argentinian riders. He was 3rd in the Tour de San Luis youth rankings.

Usually ProCyclingStats are better at results from young riders as they have most U23 and junior races as well.

Magnusson looks like a puncher type as his best results are on hilly stages. Should have bad TT/Prl stat. https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider....eason=2013

Nyqvist looks like the same kind of rider, only a bit worse. https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider....eason=2013

PADOUR Frantisek - 19/01/1988
Not 100% sure what he will be like in future. I guess some kind of helper at the moment without the highest potential. Seems to come over some hills but won`t have that final punch to win then.

Cesare Benedetti - 03/08/1987
Mainly a helper but can get a result from time to time. Was 15th in last years Tour of Britain and 2nd in Tirreno Mountain Classification. 6th in Baby Giro

Ahmet Örken - Rider ID 7258
Already in the DB. He really can be improved somewhat as he has some solid 2013 results riding for the COMPLETELY LEGITIMATE AND CLEAN Torku Sekerspor team. He had a stage win at the 2.2 Tour du Maroc and he had 2 stage wins at the 2.2 Tour de Serbie. Plenty of top 10s in .1 stage races in Asia as well. Maybe move his current sprint stat up to 70 so that he will develop to 77.

Josef Cerny - Rider ID 35
Currently he is down as a track sprinter/time trialist. I'd instead change him to improve on hills and make his sprint worse as he seems to be going that way. I'd also improve his potential to 5 because he is showing some more results - he won the Czech U23 TT championship and he had a few alright TT and TTT results.

Diego Antonio Ochoa - 5/6/1993 - Puncheur
It is hard to tell if he will be a puncheur or a climber but I've listed him as a puncheur because Colombia already have pretty much only climbers Pfft But results such as 5th at Circuito de Getxo (1.1) and a number of hilly U23 races speak well of him in this way. I'd give him quite good potential because I wouldn't be surprised if he turns pro at some point.

Bakhtiyar Kozhatayev - 28/3/1992 - Puncheur
Currently at Continental Team Astana. 4th overall at Tour de l'Avenir but he still fell down in the main climbing stage. He was just able to make up time on the hillier ones. 5th at Coupe de Nations and 6th at Tour Alsace. 4th at the hilly and competitive Tour of Almaty (1.2). A potentially very talented rider.

Kamil Gradek - 17/9/1990 - Puncheur/TT
He is primarily a puncheur but he has a decent TT on him (he was selected to represent Poland in the TTT at the WC). He beat some other decently talented young riders to come 2nd in a Polish 1.2 classic.

Asbjørn Kragh Andersen - 9/4/1992 - Sprinter/prologue
Has some good .2 sprint results from earlier last year both in classics and in stages and he has also got a few good prologue performances, but he isn't good at longer TTs.

Victor Campenaerts - 28/10/1991 - Time Trialist
I'm sure someone mentioned him earlier in the thread but in case they didn't, he is a great rider to watch out for. He is with Topsport this year and had some great TT results last year, such as winning the U23 European TT championship and the Belgian U23 TT championship. Good potential.

Edward Theuns - 30/4/1991 - Puncheur/TT
really more of a puncheur than a TTist. He is also with Topsport this year. He was 6th at the U23 Liege-Bastogne-Liege last year but also was 3rd in the Belgian U23 TT champs and had a TT win in a tough .2 race early in the season.

Bekir Baki Akirsan - 1/11/1991 - TT
Okay so he is actually a really poor rider who rarely does better than the top 100, but still if you want to add another Turkish rider, he is the Turkish TT champion.

Alexander Wachter - 21/1/1995 - Sprinter
Still quite young but seems to have some potential. 2012 European Junior champion. He has a couple of Junior podiums from last year and it will be interesting to see what he does this year in the U23 ranks. I thought you might want to include him so that you have a young Austrian who isn't a climber.

Also I just noticed in my research that there are duplicate Steve Bekaerts (IDs 3069 and 6331).

Sorry for the double post, but if anyone has any nations that they want me to look up (whether you are already in the game or just applying for a future spot) let me know by PM and I'll do what I can to flesh out some more youngsters from those countries. I enjoy getting down into the weeds of the U23 circuit. You find all sorts of riders there.

What site do you use to look up the U23 results?

PCS has most of them (though not all). For the rest I use the Wielerland paid site, which also includes really comprehensive results for Juniors and a lot of different local scenes (particularly Belgian and Dutch).

Jakob Rathe ID3173

Needs an upgrade in stats. He is much more of a sprinter/classics rider than currently in the DB and certainly has more current ability! I'm not great at MG stats but he is a well known rider

Yovcho Zhivkov Yovchev ID7145

Perhaps could use a sprint increase. His best results come on flat stages. Obviously he isn't great so not much higher than mid-60's, but he could become more realistic.

Steve Fisher 22/06/1990

Won the Tour de Delta and finished 4th in Bucks County Classic in 2013. 35th in America Tour on PCS (ahead of a lot of name talents). Guess that makes him a solid sprinter/classicsy type rider. 23 years old so not the youngest but think he could slide in with ok stats

Borislav Ivanov

Not bad GC rider with okish results in the NC's and Szekerland races. Not too bad in Tour of Bulgaria, Romanian Cycling Tour and Classic Beograd-Cacak. Can't get his age because CQ isn't working for me but he's 23 or under. Not sure on his specialty but perhaps puncher?

Radostin Yordanov

Missing a real stand out result but has his best result in youth gc rankings and time trials. Best results are 6th Stage 2 Sibiu, 6th in both NCs and 7th Youth Szekerland. Certainly one of the more promising young Bulgarians. Again CQ not working so can't get his age atm

Björn Thurau - 23rd July 1988
Pretty surprised to not find him in the DB. He really is having a great season so far already. Very attacking rider. Comes well over hills. Probably has some potential as well. Improved from season to season. Since starting for Europcar he really made the next step in the WT.

Tino Thömel - 6th June 1988
Solid sprinter. Won sprints or podiumed ahead of guys like Van der Lijke, Bennett, Dupont, Ariesen, Stroetinga. Also not that uncomfortable on the Belgium classics for example.

Christoph Pfingsten - 20th November 1987
Allrounder. Good time trialists. Decent puncheur. Was 3rd in last years Circuit Ardennes behind Zoidl and Eibegger. 3rd in 2012 Royal Smilde Olympia`s Tour just ahead of Rohan Dennis. 16th in the 2013 Castilla y Leon.

Jonas Koch - 25th June 1993
Young rider. But very talented. Had lots of top10`s last year in many U23 or Polish stage races. Good puncheur. Seems to be a great talented German duo with him and Herklotz in future.

All of these guys below are very young, so i am not sure if you can add them. Also, i checked and only Maltar is posted once, but maybe i made mistake accidently. Sorry, in that case.

Bruno Maltar | 6th October 1994 (19)
PCS: https://www.procyc...uno_Maltar

Suggested before, not sure if added. Promising TT rider (finished as 2nd at Croatian NCs) and quite good sprinter actually. No big results except that, but he should be added, definitely.

Domen Novak | 12th July 1995 (18)
PCS: https://www.procyc...omen_novak
Good all-arounder with climbing as his best ability. Won't be one of greatest, but can be really useful domestique. His best result is 4th place Trofeo Guido Durigo (1.1).

Simone Velasco | 2nd December 1995 (18)
PCS: https://www.procyc...ne_Velasco

Absolutely great young rider to be added. His best results are: Win at G.P dell Arno and Trofeo Citta di Loano, 2nd place on Trofeo Duigo Gurido and 2 third places at Giro Internazionale della Lunigiana's first 2 stages. He's climber as well, but as you can see , he can actually go well on hills.

Lorenzo Fortunanto | 9th May 1996 (17)
PCS: https://www.procyc..._Fortunato

Great sprinter, but with lack of climbing abilities. Very young as well, but can be added.
