Now for the most exciting and final DFL signing this season - Mark Cavendish!!!
The British sprinter has at least broken free from the shackles of T-Mobile, where he was underused, underappreciated and therefore underperformed. In 2009 he only scored 2 wins - stages in minor races - while he did not get any wins at all in 2008! Best ProTour result being 3rd in Vattenfalls, behind a DFL 1-2. We have to go back to 2007 for true hints at Cav's potential, when he won 2 stages at the Giro d'Italia.

Respect for keeping this great story alive for so long and reaching the 4th season.
It's nice to see that you now have 3 of my proteges (riders from my Konica Minolta story) in your team with RafaĆ¢ Chtioui, Erik Hoffman and Chris Froome.
I'm looking forward to this new season. Good luck!

Some sort of bug in the game caused that odd message to come up - and Rjc fixed it for me so that I could continue.

2010 World Championships
After many years of hillier world championships, the UCI have opted for a change in 2010 as shown by the shortlist announced a few months ago. Although including Stuttgart (a hilly option), Melbourne and Liverpool were there and both were joint favourites going into the all important vote.
And the winner? Liverpool!

Or even better a Brit 1-2!
Could give me a dilemna though if its looking like a Brit 1-2 I would be very tempted to slow Cav down for Swift if necessary!
