Okay - the riders who have left DFL:
Igor Anton
The former Vuelta winner heads to Barloworld after 2 seasons with DFL
Ivan Stevic
2 seasons is also enough for Stevic, who was snapped up by Ag2r
David de la Fuente
After the 1 season at DFL, the Spaniard moves to Unibet
Maxim Iglinskiy
Credit Agricole awaits for the Kazakh climber
Arnaud Coyot
After a disappointing year on the cobbles, Coyot is out of the ProTour as he joins Slipstream
Anuar Manan
With DFL since Continental times, the Malaysian can continue his partnership with Stevic at Ag2r
Fran Perez
Can consider himself a little lucky to still be in the ProTour, with Discovery Channel
Saul Raisin
The talented American was snapped up by Caisse d'Epargne
Matt Goss
Couldnt cope with the ProTour sprints, and like Coyot, will be riding for Slipstream now
Evan Oliphant
Nobody wanted to sign the Brit! Now a free agent.
Bernard Sulzberger
DFL from the start, Aussie Champion along the way, and now at Caisse d'Epargne

One Sulzberger may be gone, but another has arrived.
The Australian Sprinter joins us from Aurum Hotels, having taken his first pro victory last season - a stage in the Int. Osterreich Rundfahrt

The departure of Arnaud Coyot also left a hole in the cobbles department - Nolf may be the leader, but he cant do it by himself!
We have therefore brought in two riders to fill this hole.
Coming from Chocolaude Jacques, Verbist's best result so far came right at the end of 2009 - 2nd in the Nationale Slutingsprijs. Fabio Sabatini is also coming from the Continental Tour after Milram spent the season there last season, Milram did not want him so we signed him up - despite his last win coming back in February 2008.

Two more signings here: Dan Martin and Scouted British rider Matthew Henshaw. They may be the 'weakest' riders in our team for now, but are sure to develop well

Just to paint the picture:
11 riders left the team, so far 5 have been introduced, then there's at least Pellizotti and Wegelius (I seem to remember you saying you signed them a few months back).
Any surprises left?

Michael Rogers has been the Australian ITT champion for the past two years and is a new signing for DFL for 2010. However, he has not had any other wins outside of Australian Time Trials at all. Instead he had proved to be a solid performer in stage races, last year for T-Mobile he was 6th in the Tour de France, as well as 3rd in the Deutschland Tour, 6th in the Tour de Romandie and 8th in Dauphine Libere.

Erik Hoffman becomes the 2nd African in our lineup and is ready to at last participate in high level ProTour races. For the past two seasons at SouthAustralia.com, his Top 10 results have only come from placings in stages of the Tour de Langkawi. But back in 2007, he did score a 2nd place in the GP Jef Scherens where he battle with (and lost to) Aleksandr Pliuschin.

Two years at Rabobank werre far from productive for British rider Charly Wegelius. All he managed was a Top 10 placing in the 2008 Trofeo Laigueglia which must surely have been disappointing considering that for Liquigas in 2007, he took 7th overall in the Vuelta a Espana. That lifetime best form may be unlikely to repeat itself, but Wegelius still has the talent to perform well for us.

Liquigas may have been good for Wegelius in 2007, but they were certainly detrimental to Pellizotti's season in 2009. While he took an impressive 8 wins, and 16 podium placings all together - they were all in continental races. An appearance at ProTour races last year was a rarity for the Italian. Thats why he has left, and we will of course provide various ProTour opportunities for him, as is to be expected, but he had unfortunately had a stats decrease over the winter which means he may not figure as a captain as much as had previously been planned.

He rode for Ceramica Flaminia last year, and Thuringer Energie before that - but Marcel Kittel is now a DFL rider. He took a stage in the Giro del Trentino last season, but his 7th place in the World TT Champs was much more impressive. Prior to that e took 3 wins over 2 years with Thuringer, this included a Stage and 2nd overall in La Tropicale Amissa Bongo in 2008 - where DFL's David McCann came out on top. Kittel really does have huge potential to become one of the best time trialists in the world.

Time for another British signing - and who better than Chris Froome? Already fighting for the title of best British Stage Racer with still room to develop, Froome was an impressive 24th in the 2009 World Championships. He took 1 win apiece in 2008 and 2009 while riding for the Norwegian outfit Maxbo Bianchi, both coming as stages in small French stage races. Who knows - maybe a stage win this year will come in a much bigger French race?

Great signings Froome will develop into a great rider it seems.
