Yes, I think around 500 pts have come from U25 riders, but plenty of lucky results in there. Especially from the Tour of Norway.

Should be a perfect race for Beltran, let's hope he can deliver.

Tour of Lithuania | Race Report Race Date | Race Category | Race Goals | 19.07 - 22.07 | 2.HC | Top 3 GC; 2x Top 35 GC |
The first stage proved to be very selective. In fact the front group only features 10 riders. Cedevita leader Eduard Beltran was 9th among the 10. So a positive that he made it through without a time loss. Stage 2 was pan flat and all the riders made it to the finish without problems. Stage 3 always has GC implications one way or another. A big breakaway went up the road and they weren't caught until the final few kilometers. Kinoshita attacked earlier and the Japanese puncheur was the strongest holding on for the stage win. Beltran finished 3rd in the group just behind him.
A familiar sight this season, Beltran finishing behind Frankiny
Last year Beltran turned the race around by winning the final stage. Things didn't go as "planned" this time. The Colombian either through a bad decision or bad legs, stayed with race leader Frankiny. Both of them lost a lot of time to the other favourites. In the end Beltran finished only 6th on the stage without gaining any time on Frankiny and slipping down to 4th overall. Enough to complete the team's sponsor goal, but leaving us wanting more after being 1st and 2nd the last two years. Most of the other scoring came from Gilanipoor in 35th, Gaudu 39th and 3rd in U25 and finishing 2nd in the team classification.

I think Beltran has a really good chance to shine in the Basque Country! Got my fingers crossed for you, with barely any hope for my own team

Thanks for the support
I had a chance to send him to this version of San Sebastian back in his dominant season of 2019, but the length scared me off. He gets a chance this time and I hope it works out

Tour d'Andorra | Race Report Race Date | Race Category | Race Goals | 25.07 - 29.07 | C2.1 | Top 5 GC; 2x Top 3 Stage |
Cedevita made their way to Andorra for the first time since they are part of the PCT and with Jose Alarcon as team leader, some fireworks were expected. The Venezuelen delivered on stage 1 as he attacked first on the final brutal 20 km climb. Many attacks then followed and Alarcon was able to finish 3rd, a great start! Stage 2 went to the breakaway with no GC changes. But stage 3 was always going to be crucial. Alarcon didn't have the same legs and while the early attacks didn't go anywhere, he wasn't the one following them. He eventually lost contact in the final kilometers and conceded close to 2 minutes to his rivals, dropping to 10th in GC.
Jose Alarcon just beating Sam Oomen on the line for 3rd place
Things didn't look great as the next stage was a time-trial. Despite being a mountainous one, Alarcon is not known for his time-trialing. But somehow he recovered from the disappointment of the previous day and placed 2nd, only behind the legend Pluchkin himself. With that he moved into 7th in GC. A striking distance from the top 5, but also not much leeway from falling back again. The last stage to Peyragudes was the longest of the race at 230 km. Cedevita put Alarcon's first lieutenant Gilanipoor in the morning breakaway, but the GC battle started with over 30 km from the finish. Alarcon followed and launched his own attack, looking in better form. In the end it was all about survival and he did manage to finish in the lead group. With Quintana and Schelling losing time he finished the race 5th in GC! His good stage results also placed him 2nd in the points classification. Andres Camilo Ardila added a couple points with 6th in the best young rider classification.

Clasica San Sebastian | Race Report Race Date | Race Category | Race Goals | 08.08 | 1.PTHC | Top 10; Top 25 |
The one day race in the Basque Country started with a big breakaway of riders going up the road. Cedevita decided against joining the breakaway. A hard pace in the peloton started causing big splits in the peloton with as many as 90 km to go. Quite a few Cedevita riders missed the split at the time. With 40 km left Miguel Angel Lopez launched an attack and Eduard Beltran was on his wheel. As the peloton continued to drop in numbers, Beltran found himself in an elite 6 man group with 20 km to go. Being able to follow every attack the race ended with Eduard Beltran sprinting to a 4th finish in a 5 man group. A great result for him in a PTHC classic! The only thing missing was depth results behind him, but the race was still a huge success.
Eduard Beltran was well positioned to follow attacks from the race favourites

Hey, I had lots of "I told you" also
I thought Beltran had a chance to do well in San Sebastian and he did as well as he could. Alarcon meeting preseason expectations was a bigger surprise, because I definitely saw him struggling in Andorra based on some of his other results
