Great season so far with all three leaders performing to their potential. Cheshire should be another favourable race for Saber, as has been the case historically. Glad the team turned around the disappointment from last season

Ranking update #3 covers the entire month of march as well as a large portion of april. We used many race days in comparison to february and with good success we made a big jump in the rankings. For the moment we sit in 9th with a good ppRD, albeit not yet using any of our C2 race days. So how did we do it?
Lahcen Saber started his season in Barbados and Juarez and was the main reason we scored close to a 100 pts from those races. Pais Vasco was a debut race for Pogacar in which he won the U25 classification and we scored nicely as a team considering we had none of our leaders there. What were solid results for us to start the month, continued to improve with a 5th place for Eddy Beltran in Strade Bianche and 3rd place by Jose Alarcon in his first race in Eritrea.
Our results kept improving in april as Saber scored his first win of the season and 2nd place overall at the Baltic Chain Tour. We even won the team classification there thanks to some great performances in the opening prologue. We then followed that up with a whopping 299 points scored in Poland. Beltran won two stages and the points classification en route to finishing 2nd overall. Pogacar also added another U25 win to his "palmares" and we accomplished our first sponsor goal of the season.
This might have been our best stretch of any season so far. It won't be easy to keep up this level, but we have moved away from the relegation spots and we look forward to trying to stay in the top 15.

Another 10/10 race, lovely! Beltran doing really great so far, whereas it's also superb to see Pogi winning another U25. Congratulations
Yes, we've had a few very successful races already this season. Beltran looks really good so far. We'll see if he can keep it up.
Pogi has really done the best he could do in his first two races

I have my doubts Cheshire will be good for Saber after seeing the startlist
Early signs suggest we'll have a better season this time, but there is still a long way to go. I can't really complain so far

GP Wallonie | Race Report Race Date | Race Category | Race Goals | 25.04 | 1.PTHC | Top 15; Top 30 |
Cedevita were determined to get rid of the bad taste they got from this race last year. As such Miha Poljanec made his way into a breakaway of 17 riders. He was one of the strongest in the breakaway, still resisting the peloton in the final 25 km. Lots of individual attacks followed, but Eduard Beltran and David Gaudu were both well placed in the leading group. Gaudu helped to reel in the final attack and led the group on the final climb. The Frenchman followed every attack to the best of his ability and continued to do so all the way to the finish line. With that he finished a fantastic 8th on the day, while team leader Beltran wasn't quite as strong and was 12th. A great all round performance by the team. Last year's result is now out of the system, punctuated by David Gaudu's first signature result for Cedevita!

Definitely looks like Chile is a race you want your GC rider to be able to handle hills well, so Beltran should be the one to beat. I’m just hoping at least one of my losers can hang on to his coattails long enough to finish in a decent gc position

I like the choice of sending EAB to Chile. Well, not from my point of view to score as many points as possible with Spilak, but from a managerial point of view that is
Also a very nice performance by Gaudu in Wallonie, and glad to see Beltran also improved on his performance there compared to last season.

Yeah, in theory Beltran should do well in Chile. We'll see how PCM thinks. Thanks for choosing our HQ as the place to voice your displeasure. We are honored

I guess I could've sent Alarcon to Chile instead, but I hope Beltran's hybrid ability works well. Gaudu's performance was definitely one of the nicest surprises this season so far

Veenendaal - Veenendaal | Race Report Race Date | Race Category | Race Goals | 28.04 | 1.HC | Top 10 |
The race started with a large breakaway of 18 riders. Cedevita did their part in controlling the race. The breakaway was caught with 17 km to go. The peloton worked well together up to that point, but everything went haywire in the last kilometres. With the sprinter teams not in control the rouleur had their way. Two of them, Konychev and Yzeiraj went all the way to take the top two spots. Saber did his best from a bad situation to finish in 6th place, but perhaps the team needs to provide him with better support next time.

Tour of Chile | Race Report Race Date | Race Category | Race Goals | 11.05 - 13.05 | C2.1 | Top 5 GC; Stage win(s) |
The Tour of Chile started with a breakaway of 4 riders surprising the peloton to take the stage win, when it was expected to go to the sprinters. Stage 2 was the stage Cedevita focused on with their leader Beltran. The team support was focused on this hilly stage with a downhill finish, but going into the final important 30 km of the stage, there was no one there to help the Colombian. Given the situation Beltran played it safe, but missed out on following Moscon's winning move. He finished 2nd on the stage with no time gained on the other climbers.
Eduard Beltran on the radio asking where his support is
The key stage of the race is the short mountain stage 3. Similar to stage 2 attacks started from far out with 25 km to go before the main climb. Beltran followed an early move from Latour, before things came back together. This time he had Vysna and Blikra with him in the reduced peloton. Vysna did his best setting the tempo before Frankiny attacked. It was down to the favourites to chase, but with no one fully committing the Swiss rider was able to maintain a gap. With 2.5 km to go Beltran attacked from the group of favourites. No one could follow him, but he just came short of beating Frankiny to the line, having to settle for 2nd place again. The stage win gave Frankiny the GC, but Beltran finished 2nd in the GC and KOM and also won the points classification for his consistency over both stages. A terrific showing from the Colombian once again. Matej Vysna scored his first points of the year with 22nd in GC and David Gaudu finished 5th in the U25s.
