This is a realistic DB, not a fantasy one. It can be done, but outside the original project. |

Hi i have a question abour some of the riders in db. Will there be people like basso and landis who will be on free to ride come the end of the 08 season. also will there be a 19th team added to pro tour in collstrop? just looked at the stats and i would say that it is looking really good. |

The dopheads are definately removed and there won't be any sight of them from now on.
For the ProTour-thing: the official teamslist will be respected, and so the squads inside will be ProTeams. |

I better not suggest anything..even worse if possible trying to protect Dankan with "more work" request.
First stats images looking realy promising..my biggest hope is that db would be ready soon as possible and I cant finaly start my new story here (prety egoistic ..eh?). Good luck db team. |

I think I'm waiting for the new story as much for the new DB - I hope it comes soon

1. There won't be any problems to reproduce the 2008 calendar. The 3 GT's have been moved outside of the ProTour (GT), and so do the classics (1.XPT). Paris - Nice and Tirreno Adriatico were moved to a new category (2.XPT). The rest of the calendar will be the same (except for some minor corrections like TDU ---> 2.PT).
2. Don't understand that question.
3. 18, as IRL. I guess the game won't handle that number forever and will make no relegations at the end of 2008, to promote 2 teams and leave the division as a 20-team one. |

from experience with software projects, here's the main thing I've learned: no matter how hard and well you work, you'll always have an extremely hard time keeping to your deadlines. You'll keep them if you work hard but it'll be tight.
And considering Dankan is doing this in his free time and therefore can afford to do this at his own pace, setting a date wouldn't be wise
that's my two cents, basically.
Whenever it's out it'll be a nice surprise. especially if Dankan keeps the release a secret and just one day comes out with a "here it is. enjoy" post without ever giving a clue about whether or not it's close to completion
