hi mates can anybody tell my or link me how can i do default roosters for the races ? Like i want to do this years giro team roosters and play with riders who are set for this race in real life.

hopefully you mean rosters 
you can make an xml file containing the starting list of riders. put it in your PCMfolder/Custom/Startlists
sorry that I can't tell you exactly how to make one, but here's one from ppdb to serve as an example.
the PPDB Giant is a free download on this site, so I think it's OK to attach a part of it. if otherwise, please a mod remove it...

Heres an example of a startlist:

</startlist>
Using a database editor you can find out the team and cyclist ids of the teams + riders you need and when youre done save the file with the exact name of the race your making the list for. |

well thanks to everybody, now i got that B)
now i can start giro 2007 with true roster and even with true stages from German Cym Team

Sorry! just a quick question from the ignorant. Ive not engaged in startlists either so I wanted to know will it work in Career mode or only 3D mode???? |

it doesn't work at all in career mode. not for the races you play, nor for the races you simulate.
it works for single race mode.

Having trouble with startlists.
I've created the list, named it after the tour I want (Jacob's Creek Tour Down Under.xml), exactly as you've said already (it's an xml file, in the right place), but still the game doesn't pick it up when playing a real stage race.
Am I naming it right?
What am I doing wrong?

You will have to look in the kicker. In the table STA_race there is a column with the name of the XML file.
Try Tour of Australia.xml
