Could someone write a guide for using nifskope to view jerseys and other graphical stuff.
Forgive me it one already exists and point me in the right direction, but I have searched the forums and have only found 3-4 references and they don't answer my questions.
thanks |

From the readme:
[ Nifskope viewer - PCM 2006 - DvT ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------- Introduction -------
NifSkope is a utillitie for viewing .nif files. So Pro Cycling files too.
------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to use - Shirt, bidon etc. -------
- Open the base file 'cycliste_ref.tga' in Photoshop
- Copy your shirt/accesoire in Photoshop to the base file and put it at the correct place
- Save the file as 'cycliste_ref.tga' (32-bits) and replace the old file
- Double click on 'Cyclist.nif', or 'Cyclist_tt.nif' for a time trial outfit
------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to use - Wheels -------
- Copy your wheel from the Pro Cycling Manager directory (normal C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Saison 2006\CM_Textures\roues) to the NIFSkope viewer folder
- Rename your wheel to 'wheel_ambrosio_diapason'
- Double click on 'Wheel.nif'
Note
- The file wheel_ambrosio_diapason is in DDS format!
------------------------------------------------------------------------- Notes -------
- First you have to install Nifskope 0.8.1 (included) before you start viewing!!
- Photoshop 7.0 or higher required + DDS plug-in (included)
------------------------------------------------------------------------- DvT N.S. viewer © - NIF Skope © -------
If you still can't make it work, just write here again. |

You need photoshop first and foremost. Edit the cycliste_ref.tga file. Change the jersey gloves, bike etc etc and then save it in photoshop as 32 bit inside the NifScope Viewer folder. Then open NetImmerse/Gamebro files of either Cycliste, Cycliste_tt etc to see the graphics you've changed. Its as simple as that. If you dont have photoshop then it wont work........ |

ok I've been trying to use this for a bit and still can't get it to work....
It took me a while to get back to trying to make jerseys....
I have like 5 cycliste_ref.tga files in both CM_Texture and CM_meshes folders:
1. Which file do I need??
2. Can I delete the others??
3. I click on the nifskope file and my guys is all white with no graphic changes at all, no face, glasses, jersey etc.
Any help again would be great |

you need to edit the cycliste_ref file in the nifscope folder...
and then you need to open the cycliste.nif file in the same folder |
