Born in Budapest, Hungary. Was training all-day, up and down, and became a tireless climber. His mission: to become a legend. The expectations are high, that's for sure. But can he do it? His manager, fcancellara believes him, and that's the most important.

My presentation
Hi my name is Stefano, i'm 18 and i'm Italian. This is my first year like professionist and i'm very happy for this opportunity with Argos. Argos is naturally a dutch team and this is a new experience for my: i've never ride for a foreign team. Though now i'm feeling ready to start and leave Italy. I must thanks my team manager and my teammates cause they're very kind with me.
In my career i've won lots of races and stages and i hope that it woulkd be the same with Argos. I'm a stage racer, but i like more mountain than TT. My favourites riders are Pantani and Andy Schleck.

Hello my new Europe friends!
My name is Kim Po-ding and I'm the newest rider on Team Argos-Shimano. I like the team, there are no Americans here! I already made a good friend, Cheng Ji from China. He introduces me to everyone and helps me with the language. I know English well, but many speak Francish and Hollandish.
I come from North Korea, sent by Our Great Leader to defend the honours of North Korea against the world. I very much hope to please Our Great Leader and I think Argos is good team to do that. We have strong riders. German rider Degenkolb has legs like smoked ham. German rider Kittel is faster than leopard and panther. And we have good manager, he is very smart.
I hope to win Tour de France this year, but it can be hard. Instead, manager says I must ride Ardennes classics. I don't know what Ardennes is. I must ask Doctor Fu later. Doctor Fu is my good friend who come with me from North Korea to help me here. He takes care of me. He is very smart, so he'll know what Ardennes is. Now, I must train more!

The first stage of the Tour Down Under has just been ridden. Team Argos-Shimano was leading the pack the whole time, and especially our newcomer Stefano Scalvini did great work! But, our tactics didn't work out; in the sprint, there was nobody who had enough energy left to do a leadout for Marcel Kittel, and therefore he only became 7th. This sounds not like a good result, but he did it all alone, so actually it is pretty decent. Next stage we'll do better!

Stefano Scalvini:
What a big work for Marcel! Pratically I've caught the breakaway alone! But he is only 7th

Ste's comment
Hi all this will be my space for my comment after the race:
I'm very happy this was my first race like a professionist and i can't believe it! I've realized my dream and i must thank my team manager Casper. About the race this stage naturally wasn't adapted for my characteristics and my objectif was: help Kittel (sprinter of my team) catching the breakaway. With a very big and hard work i've caught it pratically alone, in fact only my team seemed that only Argos wanted to catch the breakaway . For this reason at the end of the stage we wre tired and Marcel hadn't a good ledout train so he finished 7th. I'm very sorry to don't have been able to help him in the sprint and i'm a bit hungry with the other team that didn't help us. The best surprise is this:
Argos-Kudos

Dramatic 2nd stage in TDU
Well, I can't say much positive about this. The day started of very good, with Koen de Kort forming a breakaway on his own, collecting some points, but he did not make a chance on a stage win. He was our best finisher though, on a 45th place, no further comment...
