he crosses the line with 25km to go with a 30s lead on the peleton
3km later that gap is at 50 seconds and Chavanel and Arashiro decide to follow
Cobo rides past Stotlz and is now 40 seconds behind his teammate and some assistance
Chavanel manages to attack up to Stolz, Cobo is just ahead

While Arashiro and Chavanel join Cobo
The peleton breaks down, as Nazaret, Kairelis, Duran and Van der Velde all attack
14km to go and Hansen makes it up to the Cobo group
Soon after we have a front 6 and now Cobo is in virtual yellow
Van der Velde, Nazaret and Kairelis have formed a chasing trio 50 seconds behind the leaders
10km to go and Chavanel attacks, Cobo has to follow
Chavanel gets a small gap but Cobo pushes on
Hansen tries to get across
While Chavanel just rides up to Cobo's wheel
Hansen makes it a front 3 with 6km to go
Behind Hesjedal is pushing hard and the chaser are just 33 seconds back, Van der Velde is back in yellow
As they catch Gallego Martin there is confusion amoungst the chasers, and with time running out, they can't afford that
Up front the sprint kicks off, bonus seconds will be vital
Chavenal takes the lead with 1km to go, if Hansen passes Cobo, then Chavenal will pass him on the overall
And yes, As Chavenal takes the stage, Cobo's third means he may well get the overall victory too.
He needs 33 seconds, but when Van der Velde crosses the line the clock reads 46. Chavenal has done it.
Nazaret gets 5th, with Karelis 6th ahead of Hesjedal Gallego Martin and Arashiro
Gusev solo's in tenth at 1'15"
Then Zwizanski at 1'51"

So Chavanel takes the stage Cobo is 2nd on the same time, but with worse results in the sprints, while Van der Velde is 3rd 11 seconds back
